Excellent location close to all landmarks in surrounding area. Host was very welcoming. Our young Kids loved the sense of adventure that the location offered including a small play area. We had the upper floor with 3 bedrooms which was really spacious. Excellent value for money.
Lovely stay at the Dolomits. We stayed just one night, but wish to spend more time. Comfortable room, great view and helpful staff. The breakfast was tasty & I had the best hot chocolate during all my trip over Italy.
We were greeted warmly by Paolo, who let us arrive early and took us to the apartment. It was lovely, very rustic and alpine-chalet. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the towels and bed linen looked like new! It was plenty big enough for 5 of us. Our boys loved Lola, their huge dog.
Stayed there on my trip to Cortina d'Ampezzo. The location is very good between the great mountains, just 5mins drive from Cortina. Unfortunately the service we received was far from great. We arrived a bit late, around 22o'clock. Had been given the keys and it was the last time we saw anyone from the hotel. In the room the heating was not working and it was cold. When we tried to reach anyone, we had no luck. Taking shower was a great contrast. The water was burning hot, the cold water was simply not mixing with the hot, so I could not take a shower. It was that hot. The breakfast was very simple. A large table where we sat with all the other guests. Bread and butter. No meat, no cheese, no nothing. Just a few jams in the small airplane packages and thats all. It is a shame they've wasted the beautiful location.…
We stayed at hotel Montana for a week of skiing in March 2012. Paolo and the rest of the staff were great. The food was excellent evert single day for the entire week. The skiing in San Vito is good but we preferred Cortina. Luckily, the ski bus had a stop close to the hotel.
We traveled during the low season, so the restaurant was not open for dinner, but we still received a very filling and delicious breakfast in the morning, complete with speck (cured ham), local cheese, fresh hard rolls, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. . The place itself is lovely: very clean, modern rooms that still felt cozy; beautifully tiled bathroom. Paolo, the owner, is a wonderful host -- he even picked us up in town (since we traveled by bus and had suitcases to pull). It's close enough to the main street, however, to walk everywhere you need to go. Lola, the dog, is very friendly. I loved San Vito and I loved this B&B!
