Excellent in every aspect: clean, spacious rooms, newly decorated, wonderful very helpful hosts, minutes walk (or one ski bus stop) from ski lift, fantastic view! Highly recommend! We will be definitely back!

Taufer is very nice and very nicely managed by Michela and her husband: nice small apartments with all what you may need (towels, bed sheets, dishclothes, with no extra charge). It is not the usual impersonal, standard residence: it has a very good bar, very well equipped with all kind of beverages, a room for breakfast, a nicely furnished space for reading, gathering and playing cards, a small sauna and turkish bath. With a large parking space it is very close to the cableway and to the village. Good value for money

It's not just a nice place to stay. The appartments are really spacious - kitchen, living room, bedroom and a bathroom, and if you don't feel like preparing breakfast on your own, you can always go downstairs. The parking spaces are numerous so there's no need to worry where you can park your car. But the thing that's really unique is the view. Better than you can imagine and definitely one if the best you can find in town. For this very reason it's worth staying a little bit further from the centre.

We stayed here in an apartment for 10 days at the end of June and had a fantastic time. The proprietor was very helpful, although he didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Italian, and on a couple of evenings we watched the deer through binoculars in the wood with him. On our first day he drove past us coming back from the shops and reversed back up the road to give us a lift back to hotel. There was a locked garage for the motorbike, although I would have felt perfectly happy leaving on the forecourt. The one bedroom apartment was lovely and clean and it was great to have a bath after a day on the hills. We arrived late at night so had a wonderful surprise in the morning when we saw the view from the balcony. We didn't have dogs with us but I did like the fact that other residents were allowed dogs in their apartments. It was nice to be able to nip down to the bar in the evening to enjoy a glass of Prosecco/Beer. The hotel is at the bottom end of town but it was only a short walk uphill into the main area of San Martino and at least downhill on the way home! I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.
