We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room looked out towards the Piz Sorega gondola and dolomite peaks behind La Villa. We used the relatively new indoor/outdoor pool on several occasions and took several massages in the spa area. Couldn't ask for a nicer relaxing setting for the spa with fantastic mountain views. A wholesome and extensive breakfast buffet was available along with cooked-to-order egg dishes. The afternoon snack was one of the most extensive and tasty that we have enjoyed. The multi-course supper included a range of Italian and Ladin dishes over the week. The staff catered to my wife's gluten-free meal needs. The hotel is very convenient for the local bus and you can hike from the hotel in all directions. A short walk brings you to the car-free village center in San Cassiano. Owners Gustav and Esther are supported by a super attentive and friendly staff. Matteo, Marko, Andrea, Flavio and Salvatore were exceptional. Between breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner the amount and quality of the food is astounding. Perfect, tranquil location with state-of-the-art spa facilities. A very special stay.

I stayed here for 6 nights with my adult son for the maratona. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. Facilities, service, food were just great and everything immaculately clean. Looking forward to returning. We arrived late and a dinner was saved for us.

I came back to San Cassiano after almost 20 years, and chose this hotel to spend 5 nights snowboarding with wifey. The location is top, 30 meters from Piz Sorega cable car, and you have free depot at the ski rental. Our room was not refurbished and a bit tiny, but we knew we weren’t going to spend much time there, that’s why we took that one. You may want a bigger room though, if you plan on staying longer or spending more time inside. Great food is served every night, with broad variety and possibility to choose among 2-3 main dishes from the menu. Appreciated is also the snack from 15.50 to 17.00, what you need after an entire day on the slopes. Breakfast is excellent as well. The wellness area is superb, with aromatic sauna, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, and lounge zone. There is also a well equipped fitness room and a climbing wall! The staff are wonderful: receptionists, manager, waitresses, restaurant manager, and the barman we loved to talk with while sipping the grappa he had just served us :) We had a major inconvenience as they forgot to give us back our documents at the checkout (we thought we got them back right after checking in as usual), but Gustav went the extra mile and sent us a fast delivery in the town we would be next day, on our way to Zagreb where my wife is supposed to be chief bridesmaid at friends’ wedding. This was such a great experience. My friends and I stayed here while hiking the Dolomites. The room was so beautifully decorated with wood accents and lights! Our triple room even had two bathrooms! There was a nice balcony with a pullout drying rack for clothes. Thx spa was so awesome. I did the Karbala package. It had a sugar type scrub and then shower. Next mud applied just about everywhere but bikini area. (Don’t do if you are shy)Then I was sort of semi submerged in a water bed that was warm. Next, there was a 55 minute massage. (Next day part 2) it was Aryveda something and Eva did a great job. I liked her so much I did a facial the next day. My friend did too and she loved the cream so much she bought some. My friend accidentally went in the nudist area oops. It’s easy to get lost. We got food included. It was 3 courses. One night it was typical Ladin food from the area. There was music and a lady and her dad performed. Normally we don’t eat that much but the portions were just right. Totally yummy. There was a 3:30 snack which we sort of just used as lunch. Breakfast was a full typical European full breakfast. They had a comb of honey 🍯 which was delicious. The pool was indoor outdoor and lovely. The chairs were so nice. They had cloth lounge chairs. One area had nice fireplace and tea and dried fruit. Loved the decor and mini sitting areas near the front desk. They had nice fleece bags to take to spa. I liked it so much I purchased one (expensive $68 euros 💶 but I needed a bag to get my new purchases home.) I wanted a memorable bag. I loved the cool wood tree stump tables and wood accents in The room. You will love this hotel. The view out the room was a green pasture with cows and mountains. We stayed with friends for a week hoping the website did justice to the hotel. It was better than this showed as the position is fantastic with great views from our room and easy access to the lift. Hotel staff were helpful and gave good advice on where to go for a day out and walks. There was no need to eat anywhere else with the food provided in the 3/4 deal and it was all of an excellent quality. We took part in the morning exercise classes (Pilates/stretching) that were run by a very good instructor. The rest of our days were in the mountains and then by the pool at the hotel. A great stay in a lovely position and definitely much more than a 3 star hotel.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel from 1-6 June 2019.This has been one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had! The room was beautiful, and the views from the balcony were out of this world!! Everything was spotless! The sauna and Turkish bath and the pool were lovely. The staff were professional and extremely helpful. Everything seemed so organised!Special thanks to Samantha in the resturant, Lugo the barman and the wonderful chef for all the lovely food we were served. This hotel is in the perfect position only a 5 minute stroll to the slopes and has great facilities.The wellness area is of high quality as is the (plentiful) food. The staff are excellent and we will return next year.

What a delight it was to stay here following our overnight hikes and stays in mountain rifugios. This hotel is modern, yet it maintains the warmth of a chalet. Beautiful interiors and exceptionally comfortable rooms. It offers an excellent breakfast buffet and delicious dinners--excellent salad bar. Has a large and lively bar, climbing wall, pools and spa. An easy walk into town for shopping and meals. The only negatives were the lack of a/c (not a huge problem in the Alps) and the lack of English-language television channels. All in our party enjoyed our stay.
