The staff are the nicest people, always willing to help and make sure your stay is excellent. The food was delicious. The location was ideal - 10 min walk to Piz Sorega gondola for amazing walks/hikes. This was a 10/10 visit and I can't wait to go back!
We stayed for 5 days in June. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom and with a big balcony with beautiful views, ideal for relaxing and chilling out. Every day we were welcomed into the restaurant by the friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was extensive and enabled good start for a day in the mountains. The food in the evening was outstanding, with a great choice of dishes including local specialities. We went hiking in the mountains and there are lots of trails that can be accessed directly from the hotel, which was perfect.
Hotel Diamant had been recommended by friends who had previously stayed there and we will certainly be recommending it also. We stayed for a week as a family of 4 (with teenage children). The staff is so welcoming. Staff on the front desk suggested great skiing itineraries and recommended excellent lunch restaurants (and sorted the Dolimiti Superski app for us!). Staff in the dining room welcomed us like family every morning and evenings. Thank you to Maitre Luca especially. The food was really delicious. The breakfast buffet was a feast (the do-it-yourself juicing machine and fresh fruits was a treat). Dinner was a gastronomic 4 or 5-course meal. We loved the special buffet of desserts we had one evening. I completely over-ate that week! The bar is a nice atmospheric area for pre or post dinner drinks. The pool area is good but there is room for improvement: it gets very busy (so there is not enough seating for everyone) and I found the water temperature cold. The sauna and team room are off limit to children, which is good. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. There is also a gym. The rooms were large and clean, with wonderful views over San Cassiano and the nearby church. There is a hotel shuttle taking people back & forth to the main gondola. It does add 15 minutes to the ski day, but that is the case for most hotels in San Cassiano. There is also a handy ski room with boot warmers. I also think the hotel was good value for the superb service, location and quality of the food. San Cassiano itself is really charming, with nice shops and amenities, and very good links to the rest of the Alta Badia slopes and the Sella Ronda.…
We stayed at this lovely, recently refurbished hotel few weeks ago. Our room was clean, specious, comfortably designed and had a beautiful view over the town and mountains. The restaurant serves delicious gourmet dinners. The staff is most welcoming. The combination of numerous gorgeous hiking trails in the Dolomites around and staying at this hotel was just a perfect vacation.
We stayed here for 6 nights in the Diamant Suite. The room was very spacious but also very cosy. It was perfectly clean and had a nice balcony! Bathroom was also huge! The location is very nice in a lovely small town , away from the main road. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We also had dinner each evening, which was certainly OK, it became better each evening! Our only advice to the hotel would be to offer free water in the room (at least upon arrival).
All the staff were excellent, food was very very good, rooms were a good size and very clean. Modern bathrooms with plenty of space. San Cassiano is a lovely village and a great link into the Sella Ronda. An amazing hotel whether for skiing or summer holidays
This was my second stay at Hotel Diamant. Myself and a friend stayed for two nights for skiing, as we did a year earlier. As previously the service was very friendly and efficient and the food first rate. The rooms are smart, modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel has a pool and spa area, which looks very nice, but I haven’t used it. I highly recommend this hotel and all being well will revisit time and again.
We spent 4 nights at Hotel Diamant in San Cassiano and I can't recommend it enough. The family hospitality was second to none, from check-in to check-out. The food was outstanding and the services provided were top-notch. The Rudiferia Family was welcoming and they employ the best staff. Claudio and Angelo catered to our food and wine needs from breakfast to dinner. I look forward to our next stay at this wonderful hotel in an amazing location.
A first class hotel in every way. My wife and I have just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. Beautiful spacious rooms with a huge bathroom. The food was superb both for breakfast and dinner. The staff were all attentive, very polite and friendly. The location in the village is perfect, nice and quiet with lovely views. The village of San Cassiano is charming and local transport is great and not expensive. A fantastic location for walking and lift passes are quite reasonable. We bought the Alta Badia 'Any 5 days of 7' lift pass and this served us well for San Cassiano, La Villa and Corvara region. Would we stay there again, most definitely!
Yet another first class choice for a walking holiday via Inghams. From start to finish we just could not fault this hotel and the staff who look after you. We were certainly looked after. The room was enormous, as was the bathroom area and also the balcony. The view from the comfy chairs looking up to the mountains was just so relaxing. If you are a foodie then this place really is for you. Everything we ate and drank was divine. We saw there was a Michelin started restaurant a few steps away from the hotel. We like to treat ourselves occasionally but quite frankly when you are eating food of the standard at the Diamant then there really is no point. Simply outstanding. All in all this hotel really is top class in every respect.
