A great, friendly little place with decent food, staff with real people skills, and one heck of a bar - Marco's cocktail mixing skills are rightly the stuff of legend. It even has a very friendly little dog to greet you home from the slopes. There is a bit of a walk to the ski lift, and the ambience may... More

Where to start. I have read all previous reviews on the food and hospitality but my experience was far from this. We arrived on Easter Sunday to be met by the owners kids (5 of them) running and roller booting around the bar/lounge. There was no where to sit due to their coats, games and the kids themselves spread out... More

What a cracking little place, Great hospitality, you won't be dissappointed. This Hotel has a very chalet like approach, without the worry of getting lumbered with a gang of people you don't know. Everyone was super friendly and the fire side chats with a cold one about your days skiing are brilliant. Marco... Oh Marco, he is a truly wonderful... More

This was our second visit to the Hotel Martin. To get me to return to a hotel requires it to have some outstanding benefits to staying. The staff, location and service need to have unique characteristics. A proper piedmont family run hotel. They are perfect hosts for our week of skiing with great food, service and uninterrupted sleep. Anyone should... More

This is our 10th year staying at the Hotel Martin and never leave disappointed. The staff are so friendly, Max, Ricardo, Marco Gabrielle and Marsha all made us feel very welcome and part of a large family. They are so genuinely kind and helpful. The position of the hotel is superb, very close to the best uplift in the area... More

Great hospitality, comfortable clean rooms and reasonable food provided. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and always found it friendly and convenient for the slopes. They have added a few new features to the hotel such as wine tasting and a happy hour. Marco the b ar man was particularly entertaining. The Hotel isn't the plush'ist but... More

There is a warm welcome at this hotel, the staff are all friendly and helpful. It is a family run hotel and this adds to the homely atmosphere. The shuttle ride to the ski lift was particularly welcome for 5 euros per person. The downsides are that the rooms are fairly small. The heating was a bit erratic. If you... More

This is our 3rd time at the hotel, its like no where i've ever stayed before! it feels as if you're sat in the lounge at home! slippers are fine, cosy, tiny bar, run by Marco who has perfect English and great banter! Food not exotic/fancy but plentiful, adequate ski breakfast and always cake or cold meats mid afternoon. its... More

This is our first stay at this hotel although we have been regular visitors to the area for ten years and always spend a couple of evenings in the hotel and received a warm welcome. We booked directly with the owner, the process including the airport transfers was smooth and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and clean and sufficiently roomy... More

As the title suggests this was our 3rd year at this hotel, all taken during 1/2 term when Crystal charge premium rates for all their hotels. The week got off to a nice relaxed start, we arrived Saturday lunch time and were booked in by Max's brother. After picking up our skis from Gros sport just a couple of minutes... More
