Hermitage is perfectly placed on the piste so no walking involved carrying skis! The hotel team couldn't do enough for us and we're delightful hosts - always very hardworking but very friendly. Whilst not a luxury hotel it is perfectly adequate, comfortable and clean - and the food plentiful and delicious.

No hot option for breakfast, 3 courses of evening meal took 2 1/2 hours to be served some of my group gave up and went to bed before the final course. EVERY meal was cold served on cold plates. Key cards had to be constantly re-booted sometimes requiring the staff to do it late at night much to their annoyance....

We stayed here 7th to 14th January 2017 with a group of 30. This was a budget ski holiday, a chance for my husband to learn while I could ski with some mates. It's not the Ritz, admittedly, but it's warm, spotlessly clean and comfy. Generous continental buffet for breakfast and a solid four-course dinner (salad/soup, pasta, meat/fish and dessert/fruit)....

We were a party of 4 adults, me, my non skiing wife and 2 20 something daughters. The hotel location is excellent. towards the top end of the town near the Clotes lift so you can ski in and out if you are a reasonable intermediate and if not its about 5 minutes walk up to the Sportina lift. How...

Let me just say one thing I'm not one to complain or moan but I feel that if you're looking at booking this hotel you should no the truth. I stayed in the Hermitage hotel over the Christmas period and it's safe to say that if the snow conditions hadn't have been as good as they were then this holiday...

I agree it's great ski location in the resort with ski straight on to magic carpet and up the mountain and ski back in to resort and the condition were excellent. But the hotel and food left much to be desired. The rooms are varied some up dated some not, heating system is unpredictable with rooms either too cold or...

If you are just going for the main purpose to be skiing you are in for a treat. The location is brilliant next door to the magic carpet to take you up to the first lift. The actual hotel is bareable after a long day skiing. It has a place for your skis, there is a bar area and wi-fi....

I've given 4 stars but that is not because this is a luxury hotel. Its strength is location as you can walk on to a travelator to start the day and ski back to the door to end the day. We paid a little extra to get a balcony which we enjoyed because we had sun, sun sun and so...

I went with a large group of friends for a skiing holiday and while the hotel was not the fanciest, it was more than ideal for our needs. The room was of a reasonable size and the facilities that were provided in the hotel were more than acceptable. There was more than enough food for breakfast and dinner with large...

Excellent hotel right next to the piste. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms seem to vary between brilliant and small! The food was adequate but certainly not outstanding, and occasionally disappointing. Internet not up to modern standards. However, would happily stay next ski season.
