I stayed in the Gran Baita during a weeks ski holiday in January 2015. It was a great week and I was part of a large party who all felt that we had got very good value for money with excellent food and very attentive staff. The rooms were cleaned immaculately and I would definitely recommend this hotel for families...

Just back after a good weeks skiing. The hotel is reasonably situated being about 150 metres from the centre of the village (ski bus pick up point). The rooms although a little small are comfortable and very clean. Stayed on a 1/2 board basis and the whole group were extremely happy with the quality, quantity & variety of the food...

Been skiing for 9 years and this hotel has been the best overall in terms of value for money and the mountains are fantastic. Stayed here with my husband two grown up sons and our young daughter. The village is typically Italian with a range of bars not much more on offer but with a comfortable hotel and fantastic slopes...

What can I say about this hotel : It's like a chalet more than a hotel, it has a open fire with lots of sofas to relax, spotlessly clean. Food over all was good, 3courses and a salad bar each night, staff were excellent, room and bathroom cleaned daily. Ski bus stop 3 min walk and first ski lift 10...

Excellent food and service, rooms very clean with good comfortable beds but could do with better lights for reading. Other than an inadequate supply of hot water for tea in the morning the food and presentation was exceptional we would definitely be happy to stay here again.

I would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling to Sauze to book into this hotel. First off it's more like a chalet than a hotel which makes it a much more relaxed atmosphere. The staff are second to none and very accommodating. It was one of our party's birthday on NYE and the staff put a bottle of Prosecco on the...

Stayed at the Gran Baita over New Year and I have to say it was over rated. Let’s start with the positives; the location was great, close to village centre and ski lifts. The service by the waitresses in the restaurant was excellent. However on the downside, it was noisy, thin walls, hard floors and guests coming and going at...

This hotel is more like ski chalet, the lounge has an open fire with sofa's to relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean with plenty of space for clothes etc. The evening meal is served in the restaurant between 7.30 and 8 and is 4 courses with a good choice and excellent quality,...

Very very good hotel.Location fine and short walk to ski bus stop. Food, plentiful and of a high standard, and New years eve gala dinner was fantastic. Rooms typical of those you find in alpine hotels and spotlessly clean. Staff were the most friendly I have ever met skiing. They were always more than happy to help. Thanks to Paolo...

A slightly old-fashioned family-run ski hotel, but very clean and the staff were all very friendly. I stayed over New Years with a group of friends and we all had a great time. The NYE gala dinner had a spectacular buffet - the most impressive I've ever seen in a ski hotel - and the food the rest of the...
