My husband and I have been visiting the Lido Palace since 2014. We have rarely missed a year. When Europe opened up again and we were able to travel, the Lido Palace was our first choice destination. How can you beat the first class service you get here.? The staff all made us feel very welcome and cosseted us in a warm Italian blanket of pure happiness and peacefulness. After two years of lockdowns and stress we very quickly relaxed helped by a few massages in the Spa. The Lido Palace is pure paradise by the lake. Our room was very comfortable and we had some wonderful sleeps woken by the dawn coming over the mountains and the birds heralding the new day with glorious birdsong. I know I am waxing lyrically about this hotel but how else can you describe this place in any other words. The food was very good and changes are about to happen. It was lovely to see a coffee machine in the bedrooms but a shame there was no milk. They now have very smart bikes for hire if you want to explore the lake. The breakfasts are even better than before with a vast range of food available. They catered for my gluten intolerance well. My husband has mobility problems and the hotel had arranged for a mobility scooter for his use during our stay. This enabled him to zoom around the town and enriched his holiday. I had a daily workout chasing after him. Sitting on the terrace in the evening was the place to be listening to Marco playing. A lot of familiar faces in the staff were lovely to see. Some had been away only to return to working here. This is a testament to how much they enjoy this special place. My son and his new wife will be coming here in August for their honeymoon. This shows that this hotel embraces all age groups. It has a very modern vibe but still makes you feel you are staying in a glistening palace by the lake. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special. We shall be back next year. With so much gratitude to everyone who made our stay so wonderful. Sue and Ron…
This hotel is luxurious and the staff are amazing. They really go out of their way to do anything they can for you and there is so many touches that make the stay perfect. They provide cosy blankets for sitting outside on the terrace in the evening as the view is stunning. The cocktails are really good and not expensive for a hotel with free nibbles. Stayed for 5 nights and everybody remembered our name from day one. The breakfast manager that greeted us every morning was so friendly and efficient and the kitchen made my husband a cake on his birthday that was the best gluten free cake we have ever had and a lovely touch. They even organised a comp bottle of sparkling wine in our room which was a lovely surprise. The spa is really enjoyable and the massages were definitely up there with the best we’ve had anywhere (Martha in particular was very good). The warm pool and steam rooms were great and never busy, had the place to ourselves mostly. The rooms are really clean and comfortable and the towels were changed twice a day! Amazing shower washes, robes and slippers provided and rooms smelt lovely. If we are ever back in lake Garda we will definitely stay here again. Such a personable and special stay. Thank you to everyone we met and helped our stay be so enjoyable and relaxing. …
A truly beautiful hotel in a perfect location, the lido palace offers old world charm and service with very modern facilities. The staff are all first class, very professional and friendly with it. Not cheap but absolutely worth it.
I've been around the entire lake, in most of the 5-star hotels at the lake. Quellenhof is only expensive, not something at all for the money you pay there. Stuff is not professional. My personal winner is the Hotel Lido Palace, on the second place I would put the Villa Cortina in Sirmione. Whatever place you'll take, if the Riva Palace at the northern side of the lake or the Villa Cortina in the south, you will definitely enjoy your stay at these wonderful hotels.
Since several years, me and my family have been visiting the Lido Palace in Riva. It’s a beautiful combination of an old main building and a modern restaurant/spa area. The building and park are in perfect condition and the staff is very friendly and talks to you often. After 5 years of visiting the lido palace I haven’t noticed a single major flaw and think it’s the best 5 star hotel I’ve been in so far. I hope my recommendation helps the hotel, because I really appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff.
We stayed for a week at the Lido Palace for the Garda 42. The staff were great, always helpful and pleasant. Breakfasts were excellent with a great choice of options. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned well every day. The views of the mountains from the rooms, pool and dining areas was fantastic. The location to Riva is great with access directly to the Lake side path from Riva to Torbole, and only a few minutes walk from the castle at the port. The wellness facilities were great with a good indoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna and weights/exercise room. The outdoor pool was available but a bit cool for April! The Spa facilities and service was excellent. Lovely staff. Only complaints were that the Wi-Fi was poor in our room and that we were unable to eat in the restaurant on the Saturday evening as the tables were all booked. As hotel residents we found this a little disappointing.…
The location of the hotel is perfect. Quiet but within easy reach of everything. The service was wonderful and the breakfast was very high quality with an excellent range. The bedding was first class so getting a good night's sleep was not a problem. The rooms are spacious modern and very clean. The spa and gym were both very good. I would highly rate this hotel.
