A beautiful, central hotel within walking distance to all amenities, especially the boats to access other parts of Lake Garda. Views to die for from the 5th floor restaurant. Food very good. Bed was very comfy and a spacious, exceptionally clean bedroom. Rooftop pool a bonus.
Great location, right next to the lake. Great, spectacular views all around. Breakfast restaurant located on 5th floor with magical view on lake. Open swimming pool on 5th floor, with hot water, so you can swim also in March and look over to lake.
We were really dissapointed by our visit to this hotel. The staff is kind but really do not seem to care about guests complaints or issues that they might have during their stay! The only good thing is the location which is wonderful with a breathless view to the beautiful lake!
We chose this hotel on Booking.com for its location as we were running in the Garda Trentino Half Marathon. We chose a superior room with a view over the lake as the cost wasn’t much more. We really liked the hotel. The staff were very friendly and were always happy to help. Our room, although quite small, was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The wide choice at breakfast looked very nice although we couldn’t eat too much as we were running. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
Let me start with positives. Location is great. Close to the lake and marina. Strict city centre. Rooms and hotel in general is clean. Cannot complain on that at all. Housecleaning everyday does proper work. Breakfast decent. No complaints there. Always fresh and on time. Pool on the roof is very nice. Available as long as there is daylight. Negatives: Poor maintenance on the building and rooms. Hotel seems not only old but simply not maintained. Price: almost 200€ per night after holiday season is a lot for a room (accommodation for 2+2). No iron available in the hotel. No kettle in rooms. If you take room close to an elevator it can get quite noisy when it’s running. Beautiful view on the lake is clouded by dirty windows. WiFi is practically not working. Poor range. And if it’s there it’s very slow (0,5mbps).…
This hotel is perfect for walking around the historic town and to have a central getaway. We stayed there as a family for two nights and made use of the roof top pool. The hotel has a nice view of the Harbour.
We actually stayed in one of the family suites which are about a five minute walk from the main hotel. Our room was SPACIOUS with a great view of the lake. The only complaint I had was there was no phone connecting you to the front desk but this is a minor complaint. There is plenty of underground parking and a bar/restaurant in the same building. Breakfast is served in the main hotel and it is great. Not quite like a Las Vegas buffet but the selection is very good.
Visiting with a small tour group; room was interestingly shaped-- my view was just ok. Temp control was difficult, but was able to open window to get it right. Shower has no shelves for personal items. Dining room staff was wonderful- food ok. When in Italy you expect over the top. Dinner though 4 courses was pre-fix for our tour group with only 2 options for main entrée. The breakfast buffet was nice. Right outside was the Christmas festival and easy walk into the small town. Waterfront views just outside the hotel wonderful. Hotel has roof top seating and offered great views. Funny thing is the lights are energy efficient, but when you exit the hall is so dark unti lthe lights go on. Bar had bartender only one night of our visit- the front desk staff served guests on other nights. Bar in lobby area was convenient to sti an relax with friends.…
It's a very clean and beautiful hotel. Everyone that works here is wonderful. You are right in the center of this beautiful city with amazing views. The restaurant has amazing views of the city around you, with great food. Can't wait to visit again!
Hotel has a number of things you should be aware of :- 1 -Location - Simply amazing you overlook from the front the lake or the square and the mountains. You are in the heart of the old town with everything close by and great for exploring. Shops, Food and everything you could want 2 - Hotel itself, Has had renovation and is a mix of classical Italian and modern type. Very clean and was in very good repair. 3 - Staff, a mix some of the younger ones have good English and cannot do enough to help, older ones less inclined to help but just find the others there are plenty around. 4 - Food, Avoid they will identify you are English and try and give you old rolls and poor quality meals. Eat out is my advice breakfast you will find okay but we had a few days when they had German quests in and the food was much fresher. Overall Great please to stay just eat out, to be honest there are so many places its not hard.…
