I have stayed at this hotel for two one-week cycling vacation. You cannot find a friendlier and more accommodation staff. They are there to take care of your news, with a smile. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, well maintained, and clean. The bar and patio are the natural greeting places anytime. The kitchen, run by Lena, is excellent, fresh, and tasty with a special surprise each day. The pool is great (not heated) and you are across the street from the lovely Riccione boardwalk and Bagni (beaches). Emiliano and Piero make sure all runs smooth and you have a great stay. With some luck you might even get a surprise saxophone performance from Piero. Enjoy!
My 5th time staying at Bike Hotel Milano Helvetia and I still want to go back next year. Family run hotel that is so friendly, it's a gem, you can't fault it. The food is wonderful- so much so that it's a good job we were out on our bikes almost every day! The hotel has everything you need, nice pool, fantastic food, good location and lovely staff. Emiliano, the manager is fantastic. The cycling is all arranged by Steve and supported by really nice guides (thank you Claudio, Luigi and Steve). We took bikes this year but the hotel also has good road bikes for hire and a good set up in fully equipped bike rooms. The surrounding countryside is lovely and provides plenty of scope for the rides each day. I am not usually someone who goes to the same place but this is my clear & continued exception. Thanks for everything - Sue…
Reading the reviews I had high expectations for my stay. The hotel certainly lived up to those expectations and some! Had a great start when Emiliano and Steve quickly collected me from the Railway station. The food had tremendous choice with extensive buffets at all three meals.I was trying hard to keep my weight from ballooning, as the food was always so enticing. Lunch and evening meals included free water or wine. The waiting staff were really lovely, always very nice and helpful. The Hotel reception staff were very helpful as well, nothing was too much trouble. A special mention for Romina who always had a warm smile on her face and was very patient! Emiliano and Steve are both terrific bike people who go the extra mile to make sure you have a good time. I had a problem with a puncture which resulted in an accident and some minor scratches to the hire bike, These guys spoke with the bike shop and agreed I wasn't surcharged for the scratches. The hotel offers very interesting daily rides for all standards. You can either do some or all of those (at no extra cost), or go off on your own. Steve is always happy to give directions or offer downloads for your navigation aid. The icing on the cake is there always a lovely later lunchtime meal to coincide with your return from cycling. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and the Value for Money is exceptional.…
I had a very enjoyable 4 nights here, I spent most of the time cycling and thanks Steve for sorting me out with the best advice on routes and everything in between. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice and set me up well for the hills! Would definitely recommend, hope to return some time as I never made it out to Urbino. The cycle to San Marino especially good
I spent a week there with a group of friends from Alabama (plus 1 from New York) For a bicycling holiday. It’s hard to say what the best part was. The hotel staff was wonderful. Steve Myers who organized everything for us and led one of our groups did an excellent job. The two other ride leaders were terrific, especially Claudio. I highly recommend it.
