Very bad service. Location is not very good. Restaurants not close by, get ready to walk very steep streets to get to any decent restaurants. Very noisy at night music blaring well past 11 pm for those seeking to sleep. Stay away from this hotel. Not very clean. Room service is lousy had to ask for toilet paper. Rooms very damp and smelly

My family of 3 adults was very weary of this hotel before arriving there. The first good choice we had made was booking the superior room - they are completely refurbished unlike the rest of the hotel. And at an ideal location - the closest as it can be to the pool, and less then 5 minutes away from the bar/restaurant area and the beach. Hotel Room is really modern and everything is perfect. There is an in-room deposit box (safe) included free of charge. TV has a lot of channels, but none of SKY Italia channels (good for watching tennis or top flight footballl). Maids took care of the room every day, I really cannot say not a single bad word. Hotel grounds are really nice and a lot of care and effort is put into the grounds. There are park-type benches at many spots on the grounds. Food is good. We were on half-board while a vast majority of Germans were on the full board. Restaurant posted the daily menu around noon every day. As usual in Italy, it is written in Italian and due to many Germans in German as well. Not a single word in English. We booked our stay 6 monhts ahead and for that reason I started learning Italian - which is definitely a big plus if one plans to visit Italy frequently. So, I cannot make any comments if any of the staff speaks English and to what extent. I did notice that Chief Waiter, mister Salvatore (a very splendid chap) did speak some broken English. Mr Salvatore, Mr Domenico and their team were kind and attentive during all ten days of our stay. It is worth noting that one gets allocated a table for dinner, while you might try sit elsewhere for the breakfast. Food variety was OK for italian standards. Breakfast leaned more to continental one, which suited us perfeclty. Dinner featured many entrees and couple of primi piatti, but only two secondi (by the rule one fish and one meat). Fruits were available as deserts both for breakfast and dinner. Apart from that one could take some icecream. A very positive thing is if you do order a bootle of wine, it will be kept for your next visit. Another feature so characteristic for Germans. Yay! Front Desk was OK - not too good, not bad. Their general attitute was a bit indifferent. I received around 7 parcels and small packages from other parts of Italy. No problem with that. The only negative downside was that we had to pay one bottle of wine during the check-out because Front Desk claim i had not been paid on spot. My piece of advice - always pay your bill at the end of dinner, and watch carefully that your waiter writes down the word "PAGATO" (meaning paid). Late check-out was available as paid service. Beach towels were also available - you pay first time and just make sure to return them during check-out. Pools are kept clean and there are not that many people around the pool. Beach is pebbles like and it is OK. But the big issue is the huge rock in shallow water (this is an issue at his beach not just infront our hotel). Hotels try to everride this by putting sand bags over the rock, but apparently they do not put them all the way. However, there are several rock-free spots not very wide but still safe for entrance. The area is nice, just couple of hotels and resorts. In September 2018 only one convenience store and couple of restaurants. Not sure if there is any public transportation to Tropea, we took rent-a-car for 6 days.

The village is a beach front estruture in Capo Vaticano, 20 minutes away by car from Tropea. It is just a wonderland for children, with two nice swimming pools, direct access to a fantastic sand beach, playground and a very beautiful garden. The rooms are very simple and the bathrooms quite small, but well cleaned. I recommend it specially for families.

So many things have been written, so just look at all the good recommendation , and I will not repeat. Only saying, that leaving for a walk, is not for weak people. Anyway, take a long walk at the seaside is beautifull. Rocks in the water the first 5-10 meters are not cutting, but slide. Anyway there is a narrow sandy way out only 50 m. Away. The hotel provides sand-asks in front of the hotel to pass the water rocks - only with the regret that there is still a par of Myers rock. Incredible that they do not cover the last short way out..... Surely we will come back

Hotel is located on the beach, has sun-beds included, has two good swimming pools and a beautiful garden. Restaurant is excellent, sew view. Every day there are different choices of food. Atmosphere is really beautiful with piano playing. The rooms are clean, reception is helpful, there is a tennis court and the animation for kids is good. I would recommend this hotel for families and couples.
