Through the booking process I must have interacted with at least three out of the 4 front desk staff and I must say they were all fabulous. I have read the earlier reviews on Trip Advisor and frankly don't know what most of these people are on about. The mattress was a fabulous, spring mattress wonderfully supporting and not in...

They solved our mixed up reservation problem with a smile. The room was large and comfortable. Location is in the heart of Reggio Emilia on the town square, walking distance to the other many squares as well. Breakfast was perfect with great coffee each morning. We were in the annex of the hotel, a short walk away from the main...

Hotel was clean. There was a lot of noise coming from the square especially early morning hours. We met the owner of the hotel who was very kind and actually runs hospitality seminars. The most respected receptionist who was so helpful was Max. He assisted our group with whatever we needed and had a smile on his face every time...

I stayed in the superior room that looked out at the piazza and captured the afternoon sun. Some people might find it a bit noisy but I thought it was the price to pay for being able to people watch from the window. The bed was a little harder than what I was used to but with such a splendid...

Hotel property and location is special...rooms were disappointing. Very poor layout, old furniture, A/C did not work. When we opened a window...we heard noise all night. I'd look for another place to stay before returning here. That said, the people we met (at breakfast or at front desk) were friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful.

I stayed here for only a single night (my first night in Italy in my life) and I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the street below and the square adjacent to the hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the provided breakfast was...

We booked in to the Alberta Reggio but was not told it was run by Hotel Posta. What a nightmare to find and cart the luggage through the small back streets. A stranger helped us to locate it using google maps. The rooms were nice enough but the breakfast was not good.

This hotel will be much-loved by traditionalists, and without wishing to appear at all patronising I should say our friends from North America would lap it up. It is part of a very historic building and has many attractive architectural features inside and out. It is in a great position in the centre of the old town, and thus ideal...

We stayed here on a road trip of Emilia romagna. The hotel is really well located if on foot but difficult if driving in. We found it slightly difficult to get in and out of the hotel by car as a number of things happening in the square leading to the car park. Room clean and breakfast ok.

If you want to have staff at your beck and call stay here. The staff were so friendly, willing to do anything for you. They communicated beautifully via email and had trips and tours set up for us before we got there. I would stay there again no questions asked.
