The property was a short walk from the central square in Ravello. The room was spacious and well appointed. Sitting on the balcony was an absolute treat having a glass of wine overlooking probably the best view in all of the Amalfi coast. Enrico at the front desk was wonderful to deal with, the Breakfast was excellent, Aurtoro was very attentive. I would definitely use the hotel's pick up service rather then deal with the local taxi's that (when busy) can charge exorbitant amounts to do the ride from Amalfi to Ravello (we experienced the ridiculous price of $150.00 for the cab ride). I wish we ordered the Hotel to pick us up a $60.00 charge). I would highly recommend this lovely property (it is on multiple levels so maybe not for anyone mobility challenged).
The staff was very friendly! They helped us navigate EVERYTHING! They’re very knowledgeable about bus schedules, ferries, best restaurants, etc. They arranged our reservations for the best restaurants in town and they also arranged our private transfers to and from Napoli Centrale! Enrico was so sweet and helpful! Our room was clean and beautiful! The views were absolutely amazing! If you want to stay close to Amalfi or Positano Villa Piedimonte in Ravello is the place to be!
Started our honeymoon at the Villa Piedimonte in late July. We rented a car and did the drive with all the twists and turns… some a bit too close at times but hey it’s the Amalfi Coast. Love the parking that the hotel offers - a rare find in the area. LOVED the plentiful lemon trees on site. Amazing views. Super cute room. Very spacious. Great breakfast. Did I mention the amazing views? Pool was so nice to relax in the afternoon after a LONG and HOT day sighting on your feet. They do provide drinks at the pool - try a Lemon Spritz! Yes a short walk to the city. Some steep streets and hills but not a concern for us and the shuttle is available if you need (just reserve). Do not hesitate to stay here!
A beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Short walk into Ravello city center, but be ready for some stairs! Take the bus down to Amalfi to explore by the water. We hiked the path of the gods which was fantastic. Great trip.
The view, the staff and the service is perfect! The view from this hotel is breathtaking! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Ravello was a perfect stop for a quiet and romantic couples trip. I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the afternoon. The staff are so polite and will truly do anything to make your trip perfect. The hotel shuttle and free parking are great perks. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and dinner was delicious as well.
We stayed here in August whilst visiting Ravello for my friends wedding, we came as a family with a 7month old and 3 yr old. I was a little worried as I hadn’t read many reviews about travelling here with children and so was unsure how child friendly it would be but the hotel were so accommodating, providing us with a travel cot and an early check in and high chairs in the restaurant. The shuttle up to Ravello square was so handy, especially with children but the walk wasn’t too bad either. Actually really enjoyed the walk home down the hill every night. The pool kept our eldest happy. Rooms and pool had gorgeous views and the food and drink served poolside were spot on. Rooms came with a kettle which was handy for making my babies bottles. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ravello.…
The staff, the hotel, the service, THE VIEW. All breathtaking and made our honeymoon extra special. Couldn’t recommend enough. Ravello is a bit further away from the coastal towns but the bus can get you there and runs on the hour. The hotel has a shuttle to get you to Ravello but it’s best to give the staff a heads up to reserve it for the quick ride to the bus stop/town centre.
We had a great experience at Villa Piedmonte. My husband and I were staying there to celebrate our anniversary. Enrico at the front desk went above and beyond to make it special...from sending us a celebratory amenity, to calling several restaurants to try to get us a last minute reservation when our original reservation fell through. He also arranged for transportation for us to Naples the next day. We loved our room and especially our balcony with a view but we will return because of the great customer service we received. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
I arrived on 31/7/22 with my son’s for my nieces wedding. I had a pre wedding dinner the same night, so we got ready and I left my gold bracelet in the room by the tv table with rings. I came back that night and my bracelet was missing. I told the receptionist about it but was never found. It ruined everything for me. I have traveled round the world and I have never lost even a pin in the hotels rooms but this one I lost on the first day. The hotel is nice and staff are very friendly. But be careful with your valuables. General the hotel is nice.
We had a great time at Villa Piedimonte. The rooms are lovely with cliff views from a balcony and the bath doubled as a jacuzzi. Very good cleaning staff sorted our room daily without any fuss and the pool with the poolside service was excellent with lovely views. Located a 5 minute walk in Ravello, the hotel's positioning is ideal. Special mention to Enrico on reception for professionalism and welcoming manor, and Marcella who served and tidied breakfast by herself one morning for over 10 guests, managing the situation well. On this point, there were a couple of areas that the hotel could improve...Marcella was left to serve all guests breakfast by herself as a colleague called in sick. She did amazingly but it was too much for any one person to do and the hotel didn't have a contingency plan, leaving Marcella to do everything with no support. We also had to wait 1.5hrs for an iron and ironing board on the first night with no communication from the front desk as to why this was the case or when it would arrive - this delayed our evening meal. On the whole, we had a lovely time and woukd recommend staying at this hotel…
