An amazing place, beautiful rooms, all the workers including the owners are very kind, helpful and happy. Is our 10th year in a row that we come here and never disaponted. We booked for us and some family members for this year,2020. But because of the virus all was canceled and they honor our reservation for next year. We could not wait. I like to call the place "Heaven on earth".

My wife and I stayed there at the end of September and here’s my thoughts in no particular order. The view from our balcony was stunning. If you go there, I’d strongly suggest getting a room with a balcony. Coffee in the AM and wine in the PM. Balcony and view were absolute highlight of stay. It’’s not close to anything and we had issues getting cabs. It’s not in town and nothing is easy to walk to. We walked to both Amalfi and Miorie and it was fairly difficult walking on the roads with very narrow shoulders. Walk to Amalfi took close to ½ hour. Maybe easier if you have a car? Not sure about parking. Food was not very good. We had dinner there the first night and my Cod was somewhat tasteless and mushy and my wife had cuttle fish that seemed to have been microwaved. Wine was nice and a great bargain. The views from the dining terrace were stunning. There’s a lot of stairs/steps. But let’s face it, if steps are an issue, maybe you shouldn’t be visiting the Amalfi coast? From the street to our room was 148 steps, not really an issue but carrying the luggage up and down was a hassle. The common area, lounge, pool areas are very cool with a lot of exposed stone from the original structure. Our room was not as nice as the pictures of it on-line. The room was very basic with a large bathroom and shower. Looked much better in the pictures. Breakfast can be delivered to room for 5 euro, not much to it only coffee, yogurt and some dried out rolls but have it delivered to have the coffee on your balcony.

We just got back from Italy and stayed at the Villa again this year. This was a short one only two weeks. The Villa is the same, but now there is a Chef on staff with very creative food ideas. A lot of old Italian dishes. The staff was perfect as usual. At night we slept with the doors opened to hear the surf, actually I don't think we lock our room once. Don't even know where my wife kept the key. We were so pleased with the staff. Thanks you all- Luigi, Davide, Katia, Federica, Magdalena, Azzurra and a special thanks to Chef Fabio, I gained five pounds [ 2.5 kl.].

This is one of the best hotel experience I've ever had, or at least for what me and my wife was searching for. We came with a motorbike, which it's perfect for the Amalfi coast, they offered us the parking for free, really appreciated. We were informed in advance and we came with just a bag and a backpack, it was indeed enough and perfect for 1 week. The staff is really kind and attentive, they even called us 1 day before to prevent us that the main road was closed due to a fire, terrific! The rooms are outdated, but it is not a problem, the view is so outstanding and the private access to the see so exclusive that you can forgive it. We also had for free some diving fins and masks to enjoy the coast, it was really kind from them (Davide is the master guardian, he's just the best). And last but not least, the food at the restaurant is amazing, go for it for dinner time, you'll enjoy really good meals. I think that I will not suggest this place to friends, we want to keep it secret, and far from the masses. Grazie mille per tutto, we will be back soon, certainly with our family, in one of the appartements.

We totally recommend Villa Scarpariello. Authentic, charming, breathtaking. We first came at Villa Scarpariello in 2010 and came back 3 times since then with our kids. The staff is very nice, helpful and trustworthy. We feel like being in a family house, warm and cosy. The apartments are great for family with large bedrooms and convenient kitchens if you feel like cooking or having breakfast on your terrace. The restaurant is also delightful with a great chef cooking typical amalfitan dishes. Great fish and pasta. Very pleasant swimming pool. The views on Atrani and Minori are amazing. Taxi boats can easily access the villa. The car parking is also very useful and close to the villa. Thank you Luigi, Davide, Katia, Federica, Magdalena and the whole team! We will be back for sure.
