What a fabulous hotel. Perched high on the Amalfi coast is this wonderfully converted nunnery/convent. Family ran, which can be felt in the extremely friendly, personal service. We visited Ravello and thus Hotel Parsifal back in May 2001 (not 2016 as described below). Beautiful, simply furnished but very comfortable rooms. Changed a little now, but only structurally as far as...

Returning 25 years after our honeymoon, we were hoping to recapture some of the magic of our first visit. We were not disappointed. Stepping from the street through the arched entrance into the cloistered courtyard was like stepping back in time. Antonio's welcome made us feel like family friends. Improvements have been made with great care, so the hotel has...

Ravello seemed completely asleep when we arrived in mid-Feb, and we were told by the first hotel we tried that there was ONE restaurant open in town, and it was at Hotel Parsifal. We figured that was the hub of Ravello's universe! It may not be true, but we would definitely stay here again. That the hotel was set in...

Our stay with half pension went like a dream, owing to the kind family-like service, the beauty of the room and vista, and the help provided by staff when we wished to attend concerts and oter specific events in Ravello and surroundings.

Our room was simple but beautiful, with high ceilings and a lovely view. People expecting a typical (and in my opinion, dull) "hotel" experience may not belong, but if you want to feel like you're in Ravello, this is a wonderful choice. This is, after all, an 800 year-old ex-convent, renovated but with all of the charm. We loved it....

The views from the room and grounds were amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and pleasant. We were also very pleased with the restaurant, which was very reasonably priced. While a small selection of items, and not many choices in the area, it still pleased us for the 3 nights we were there. Rooms are not luxurious, but...

We did not stay here but wished we had. A delightful small hotel in which we ate three nights. The food was good, traditional fare and the service was excellent. The brothers who owned the hotel were very helpful even lending us umbrellas to walk back on the first evening. I would highly recommend.

There is no doubt the courtyard and views from this hotel are amazing. It is the most beautiful setting of anywhere we stayed during our 3 week trip around Italy. The rooms are comfortable but dated. We stayed in December, the lowest of the low season. However, I was really disappointed with the restaurant. It was one of only two...

The location in town is perfect: you can still park a car, but 20 meters further starts the old town. The view is the one you see in all the pictures of this town, and can be seen from some of the rooms. The room is very basic, bed is 1m90 long, If you're taller than 1m80 you cannot shower...
