We spent 5 blissful days at B&B Punta Civita at the end of August, 2016. One is made to feel at home and yet completely provided for. Our room was immaculate, and so lovely with beautiful tile work, gorgeous antique furniture and a large, shaded private terrace overlooking the coast and sea. Our hosts, Roberto and Nada, were most thoughtful... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in the honeymoon room. Delightful property, magnificient views and delightful hosts. It is sitated between Ravello and Atrani, with a bus stop located right outside to both towns. Atrani, Amalfi is walkable though down a lot if steps 300 plus, Ravello approx 50 mins walk 10 mins or so on a bus costs 1.20... More

Roberto and his family are very friendly and helpful. With interesting conversations and jokes. The feeling here is perfect! We loved it! We stayed one week in this B&B. There are 5 rooms. We were allowed to park our car at the residence. The welcome was very warm. The room was very clean and everything was there. The room was... More

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B. The place is so beautiful it's breathtaking. You have a magnificent view of the coast and the sea from the B&B and it's conveniently located to either walk or take public transportation to the main coastal towns. The room was very specious, comfortable and clean and Roberto and his family are... More

This is my 2nd time at Punta Civita & I know that I will be back again soon. Not much I can add to all the wonderful things people said already about this amazing place & a warm family of Roberto, Nada, Camilla & Milly. The place is a true 5+ stars B&B: clean & spacious rooms, air conditioning, mini... More

Beautifully located B&B on the "Amalfi Highway". Roberto Lucibello and family have created the perfect mix between simplicity and affordability. Simple rooms located on the bluff. Amazing view of the sea. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea is included, We warmly recommend this B&B and will gladly be returning. The owner made a dinner recomendation at a local "higher... This is a superb base for exploring the Amalfi coast and Ravello. The location is down the road from Ravello main town, but there is a regular and cheap public bus that goes up, or alternatively you can walk, although it's quite a climb. Being down the road from Ravello gives you better access to the sea and the main... More

Never having been to the Amalfi coast I was unsure of what we would be getting, but we needed have worried - from the first contact to our arrival and throughout our stay Roberto and his family were charming and helpful with a great degree of good humour thrown in. The view from the many balconies was stunning - breakfast... More

Actually, a big plus is that Punta Civita is not in the town of Ravello, but a bit further down toward Atrani. It is in a peacefully perfect position to walk to Atrani, Minori, Amalfi, or of course to Ravello itself. If you are not a walker, no problem - the bus stops just outside the gate to the B&B.... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The name "Punta Civita "draws it's origin from it's spectacular location on the Gulf which today hosts many tourists from all over the world but at one time served as a lookout to guard from the invasions of the Saraceni. " Civita " is indeed noted in historical documents from the year 876 when it made part of the "Castellum de Supramonte "first defense outpost on the sea of the city of Ravello Once the original building of a wine cellar dating back to the 19th century, rooms were added using ancient construction techniques in the early 1960s. Thus was born a typical Mediterranean home overlooking the gulf, amidst lemon groves, grape vines and typical flowers and vegetation of the Amalfi Coast. The floors and tiles are handmade ceramics from Vietri, family antique furniture and artifacts adorn each room, while careful attention has been paid to every detail, it is the passion and personal warmth of the owners that transformed this house into a B& B in 2003. One of our guests, Francesca N. put it best when she sent this memory to us after her stay: "Punta Civita is a small paradise! It is like brilliant emerald stone set in a cliff. The rooms are both beautiful and spacious and Roberto's genuine warm hospitality is like non other on the Amalfi Coast. The mild climate, the scenic, panoramic views from the terrace, the good food and friendly embrace of the owners all contribute to making this B&B a wonderful spot to visit now and then so as not to lose sight of the things that matter in this phrenetic life! " Punta Civita is the ideal place for a declaration of love, a honey moon, an anniversary, for inspiration or just simply to read a good book... ... more   less
