We got upgraded to a suite with a private garden and a bathroom that stretched out over 3-levels - our room was bigger than most NYC Apartments. The view was stunning, the heated pool terrific, and the service - from the housekeepers to the breakfast waiters to the front desk staff - was ridiculously good. The hotel is centrally located,... I can't praise this hotel enough. Really! My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was better than anything I could ever have hoped for. The food...incredible. Breakfast was excellent. The waiters were all lovely and attentive..but in a discreet way...they didn't hover over you. The hotel grounds are idyllic. The pool...wow. I love this place so... More

This was our second trip to Hotel Caruso - this time to join friends for a fabulous birthday celebration. What a wonderful time we had - whether it was lounging at the pool, enjoying room service, or simply wandering through Ravello. Cooking lessons with executive chef Mimmo at the pool (with wine of course) was a wonderful experience. The view... More

Our Daughter and new son-in-law held their wedding reception at the Hotel Caruso at the begining of June and what an experience! It is the most stunning hotel with 'out-of-this-world' views. The staff were wonderful, they were very attentive and excellent at their jobs. They made every effort to make the wedding something to remember and all I can say is that they... The view from our room at the Hotel Caruso was stolen from a James Bond movie. Vineyard covered mountains crashing into the azure sea. Ancient villages, rich with mystery, clinging to the peaks. German sedans racing impatiently up narrow cliff roads slamming on the brakes when a shepherd leads his flock into their path. Billionaires’ yachts crashing through sun splashed... More

The Hotel Caruso is a really special place, but what makes it remarkable is its famous infinity pool, kept exactly at human body temperature. I will upload some photos

I'm shocked to see the reviews posted about Hotel Caruso. Did these people stay in the same hotel my husband and I did? As many know word of mouth is the best reference one could obtain prior to a dream vacation. While we are seasoned travellers, we were at a loss as to where to book our accommodation while travelling... More

it is hard to describe the Caruso going beyind what has been written already. I will always remember how attentive staff were (although checkout lady should have been far friendlier given what I paid), the great feeling when I dived into the infinity pool, the breathtaking views, the wonderful drinks, the best (!) breakfast I have ever had (and I... Ravello is definitely the place to stay on the Amalfi coast, much less touristy (if that is possible in this area) than Amalfi or Positano. The Caruso is in a fabulous location and our room (a junior suite) was quite large with a separate living room and a very generously appointed and sized bath and closet area in addition to... More
