The Belmond Caruso was an incredible place to spend five days last month. Not only is the scenery incredible, the quality of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile is evident on a daily basis. From delivering a lemon delight pastry to our room from a local shop in Minori to arranging a last minute pasta lesson for my wife and I, everything is done to try and exceed guests expectations. The quality of the staff combined with a magical location is the perfect recipe for an amazing holiday.

An absolutely beautiful resort with premium and bespoke service. There is so much charm to the property from the moment we stepped through the entrance, with the best views. The food was a gastronomical experience. It was an unforgettable stay that we definitely recommend and will be back again.

It has all been said before but this hotel excels at all they do. We were three couples celebrating three silver weddings; the hotel suggested a three day itinerary and fine tuned and executed it to perfection. With great thanks to Roberta and the concierge team as well as all other staff in the bar, restaurant and housekeeping. The location is perfect away from the crowds of Amalfi and Positano it makes for a perfect base visiting the treasures of the coastline. Congratulations to the entire team for making our stay so memorable… thank you.

Wow!!!!!! The gardens, the view, but especially the spa!!!! Such a perfect wedding day in Ravello. The couples massage was off the charts amazing. Definitely go to their spa and their wellness gardens afterwords- most beautiful place in Ravello with amazing spa services.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Caruso. It's a beautiful hotel and the views are amazing. Typical for italian hotels the breakfast service is a bit slow, but I don't hold that against them. It's not different than other places I've visited in Europe The only challenge is "Ravello" itself. I love the town (it's amazing) but it's small, and so you do everything in 2 or 3 days max. Getting out of Revello by car takes quite a long time (down to Amalfi for instance) so that can be a frustrating waste of a few hours. Overall if you already know you want to be in Ravello, then you can't do better than the Caruso.

Everything from arrival to departure was perfect. The best room service experience we've ever had. Beautiful hotel in perfect location in Ravello with beautiful spacious room and warm service that bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. The only part of our trip to the Amalfi Coast that we would repeat.

It is very difficult to add much to the many positive reviews that have already been written. Quite simply one of the best run and finest hotels in the world. We have always loved the Belmond Splendido in Portofino and decided to venture out to Ravello this year for a 6 night stay. We are very happy that we did. Our room was very bright, spacious, and beautiful in every way. Very much up to the standard we have come to expect by staying at the Splendido so many times. Housekeeping did a great job, which is rarer these days in many hotels than it should be. However, setting aside all of the great things about this hotel, including a spectacular pool, amazing food, a wonderful bar experience, and beautiful picturesque views, it is one thing that sets this hotel apart. The people. I can honestly say that we have never stayed at a hotel where the employees were more friendly, efficient, welcoming, and warm. Every employee introduced themselves to us. All of them seem to remember our name from the first day on. It is difficult to name all of the employees who so impressed us, but a few were Luigi, Irene and her colleague at the pool, Tomasso, Luigi, Giovanni, Carmine, Yolanda, Francesca, Claudia, Marco, Umberto, Angelo, Cairo, the bell staff whose names I do not recall, and many others. Every one of them, professional, but warm and friendly in a wonderful way. I would say it was like staying with family, but even my family is not as friendly as most of these employees :-) Alfonso Pacifico has done amazing job with his team assembling these rock stars. The Belmond Caruso - Where to start? This was our first stop in Amalfi and we arrived by helicopter from Rome. Such a spectacular way to get there, and from the beginning our stay was pure perfection! We were picked up in a luxury car all arranged by The Caruso, driven less than 10 minutes up these tiny windy roads to then arrive at the most spectacular property. Overlooking all of Amalfi at the top of the Ravello, Caruso is spectacularly situated - and Ravello is a special spot. The property is beautiful, charming, authentic, and welcoming. The infinity pool is so inviting I wanted to jump right in. We loved our room - we opted for one of the larger suites - was worth it as we like extra space, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The standouts - Roberta - perfectly seemless check in and always with a smile. Iolanda came to the rescue when needed. Super professional and simply lovely. Julia at the Caruso Grill…love her. Simply the best! She loves what she does everyday. Carmen - so sweet and funny. Made us smile at mealtime. Antonella - no words for this woman. Went above and beyond the call of duty during our stay. Cannot thank her enough for everything. Special person inside and out. Caraluna - service with a smile always. Professional and helpful. Lovely person. Gerardo - very nice at the Caruso Grill. Rosa and Enzo - Grazie mille!!! Rossella at the store. The BEST. Thank you for all the help. Marco and Gia at the pool. Grazie for making our stay that much more enjoyable. The hardest working guy was our server at breakfast and then he would serve us dinner at The Belvedere. No sleep??? He was so awesome…. Marianna - somelier extraordinaire. Hard to describe in words how special this little gem of a hotel is. The accommodations, the food, the spa, and the SERVICE. We loved our time here, and we were able to explore Ravello easily by foot each day. We enjoyed every minute, and did a lot of relaxing, eating and drinking. The food is delicious!!! We love The Caruso and appreciated this little jewel in the sky. This is a fabulous spot for couples, friends, and even families. You can’t go wrong. If you travel to Amalfi definitely make this a destination on your travels - you will be thankful that you did! Further comments Sadly we had to leave on a tough note due to a medical emergency.
