For the incredible views I would give I Limoni 5 stars. The difficulty of access spoiled it for us and mainly for this reason it gets a 1. We are both strong and very fit and go to the gym regularly. We didn't come here for a workout though! If you are anything other than super fit, with minimum luggage,... More

We booked this B&B at the last minute as the hotel we had booked cancelled on us. There were 4 of us traveling together and so we booked the suite directly with the owners through e-mail. I asked before we booked if it was large enough for 4 adults and they ensured us that it was. We were also aware... More

This is a hard review to write as there are positives and the place is beautiful once you reach the property. But, first I'm going to reveal the parts that were not made known to us before booking. We are both quite healthy and active but still the location posed a HUGE problem for us. The B&B is hard to... More

Firstly to set the scene - we are a couple in our mid 30's and relatively to highly active. We were booked to stay here for 3 nights/4days having travelled from Scotland to attend a wedding. On arrival at Ravello via the bus from Amalfi, we approached the taxi rank to get a lift straight to the B&B. Thankfully a... More

We knew about the stairs before taking this place. Before booking we read about it, so it was not a surprise, but we never thought how hard could be get there until arrived and see how far from the street.... The view is absolutely stunning, the price is fair, the breakfast is ok (nothing special), the owners are very kind... More

If you are willing to overlook the following, this is a great choice: 1. the steps 2. the service 3. the breakfast if you're positive, you could see the steps as a way to keep you fit. As for the service, it probably has to do with language barriers and that won't be necessarily be better anywhere else. This place... More

I would give this place a 5 if there weren't 250+ steps to climb and go down the mountain every time you access I Limoni. It is indeed very strenuous and not for the faint of heart. Everything else was very good. The accommodations, the service, and breakfast. Don't book if you are not prepared on unwilling to make such... More

When you book a room at somewhere you haven't been before, I think it's a good idea to receive a quick synopsis of what you might expect. When access to the property is described as 'a few character steps' on the website, but instead, turns out to be 288 steps down, and then of course, 288 steps back up again... More

I recently had to cancel two rooms in this property as I and a friend could not travel to the wedding of a very close friend. Unfortunately, it was only a week before we were due to travel and should have been charged the full cancellation fee (totally my fault). However, the owner Ciao, after I explained the circumstances did... More

Yes, the stairs are a challenge, but every step is worth it! Fabulously comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfast and most remarkable family owners. You will fall in love with the property, your accommodations will be modern, comfortable and beautiful, you will be astounded by the views - and the only thing better than all of that is the wonderful family that...
