We stayed here as part of a walking group. The hotel is a short walk from the nearest coach drop off point and the bus stop for buses from Ragusa Superiore. Our room was large and overlooked rooftops and the local football/tennis area but was very quiet. There are rooms with small balconies overlooking small roads. The room was well... More

They have 2 parking spots in the street, right outside the front door, marked with yellow lines. We asked for one in advance and sure enough one was free when we arrived. I've no idea whether this was just luck of if they really had somehow kept one free in this tightly packed narrow little street. The entrance to the... More

We stopped here for one night and had a lovely stay. The hotel has a gorgeous patio and each room is unique (I was in 107). There are also good common eating and meeting spaces. The staff are gracious and friendly. The hotel is close to two must see churches and many good restaurants. I woke to the sound of... More

A lovely looking hotel from the outside with the bonus of a couple of parking plots, a premium in Ragusa. The hotel lacks a seating area in the lobby which is a shame. We booked a triple room which was tight but pleasant enough; the shower cubicle was antiquated. Probably overpriced by 20-25 euros, but this is Ragusa and the... More

We arrived totally unexpectedly to the hotel as our accommodation had been wrongly booked by our travel agent for Modica ! We were given the utmost care and consideration after a fraught time, which we appreciated very much including the use of the reception telephone to sort out the problem. Marianna and the other lovely lady (sorry, her name escapes me)... More

This is a 3* Hotel giving service that would be the envy of many 5* hotels. The location is tremendous, right in the heart of Ragusa Ibla. The room was beautifully furnished & extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of ham & cheeses.

This was my second stay at il Barocco. It is a perfect base for exploring Ragusa Ibla. Staff are extremely helpful, rooms spotlessly clean and adequate, lovely little courtyard to sit in - ideal after a long day exploring. And I must mention the breakfasts - which for a small hotel are outstanding - so much choice. It didnt bother... More

My wife and I stayed at this small hotel, for four nights while traveling through the southeastern part of Sicily. This small hotel was located in the old town of Ragusa called Ragusa Ibla. The hotel is ideally situated to some great restaurants just steps away and the staff is most helpful. The only downside is the walls are thin... More

Ragusa Ibla is a very nice, clean hilltop town in Sicily. Hotel Il Barocco is run by a family and you can see the attention given to guests and their needs. Very friendly staff in a quiet location. Rooms were average in size, but comfortable. We enjoyed this hotel and the town very much for two nights during our tour... More

It's a well-placed, friendly hotel, it's very quiet and there is a parking place in front of the hotel. From the hotel, you can visit the entire Ibla by foot and you'll find lovely restaurants and history-filled streets there.
