Even if we are very late with this review (we stayed there in july 2016) we really feel like writing it, because this place stole our hearts! When passing the fence, it feels like entering a magic little (well not so little actually..) world! We were happy that we could park the car on the property, we were enchanted with... More

We spent five fantastic days at Mastro Vanni in June. Davide and Maria offer such a friendly, warm welcome, plenty of useful local tips and suggestions and amazing varied breakfasts including home-made cakes, cannoli and local produce. Don't be put off by the rather uninspiring surroundings of the main road, once you've gone down the country lane and entered the... More

A great spot off the heated track. Great, deep pool and the apartment very clean and comfortable. We travelled with 1.5 year old and David provided us with a cot and lots of info on the area. Would happily recommend to other families!!

What a wonderful place owned by Davide and Maria. We were treated like family members. Maria is a good cook and we tasted her different cakes during breakfast with some other produce of theirs. All the rooms are impeccably clean thanks to Maria. Thank you dear friends for your warm welcome, we will surely see you again soon.

Hats off to Maria and Davide for creating this little gem. Mastro Vanni is a place run by happy, positive people and you can just feel it when you’re there. Massive stone gate opens to an inner yard surrounded by old stables and cottages turned into cosy, comfortable apartments, equipped with anything you’ll need during your stay. The residence has... Davide and Maria were perfect hosts in a wonderful setting, modern and historical in the same time, the breakfast was amazing (even for Germans) so we really enjoyed our stay. Our daughter fell in love with Sara, the horse. Thanks for a great time - Birgit

We couldn't have asked for better accommodation or personal attention. Davide and Maria welcomed us on Easter Day with spotless rooms, great suggestions for restaurants for dinner, automobile assistance and a dessert from their family meal. Davide and his uncle helped us with a tire repair on Easter night, which is attention you couldn't expect from a standard hotel. The... More

We travelled from Palermo to Catania, staying in 7 different hotels/B&B’s along the way and Mastro Vanni was hands down our favorite place. I didn’t think it was possible on an island with hotheaded Sicilians but Maria and Davide have created a down to earth and easygoing Bed and Breakfast. The location is very convenient. We alternated beach days at... More

We just spent a weekend in Sicily with our daughter and her husband. Stayed at Mastro Vanni for the second time, and we were not disappointed. The owners Davide and Maria are able to make sure that you have everything that you need, but at the same time be unobtrusive. They really are a lovely couple. The place is extremely... More

I wanted a restful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of cities and this place was ideal. It is situated 6kms outside of Ragusa in a quiet area. The grounds of the farm are nice and well kept and the rooms are nicely finished complete with kitchenette for those wanting a self-catering holiday. It is an ideal setting for... More
