We greatly enjoyed our stay in Hotel Giordano. Nice friendly staff, free internet, clean good-sized room, very good breakfast. The location is optimal, next to Prato's Duomo and very close to railway station.

It is a decent hotel for someone who would like to have a short stay in Prato. Located next to Duomo it is very good as a basis for moving around. The hotel needs a renovation: old furniture and decoration give a rather heavy atmosphere. Noise from the shop just around the corner might reach you as well if you...

This is an older style family-run hotel, well run, and perfectly located for the experience of Prato - and the short train ride into Florence. Family run hotel just off the Cathedral square. Room was spacious with comfortable firm mattress. Good if basic breakfast. Wifi access on application to the hotel staff - unclear if you have to pay for...

Budget friendly clean hotel. Hardworking family run business in Prato Tuscany. Although the rooms are clean and big they need updating. The twin beds are hard and not comfortable at all.Room is outdated with old bedspreads and pictures. The shutter windows open which gives the place old world charm. Flat screen TV and WiFi in room. I stayed four nights in Prato, lovely town, at Hotel Giardino. The location is great- very close to the train station and a short stroll to everything in the old city. Room was clean and large, a little Spartan. The bed was quite hard, and there was no power outlet except the one under the desk. The staff were efficient...

This is a small basic hotel which is is immaculately clean and friendly. It is very well located to the extent it is central and near the station but this is also its downside, I was on business and the noise level from the nearby Duomo Square was verging on intolerable, impossible to get to sleep until very late and then...

A group of five colleagues stayed for three nights. The staff are exceptionally helpful. The rooms are clean, simply furnished, air conditioned. Some early street noise can be a problem depending on location of room. Continental breakfast was good. The hotel is adjacent to the cathedral and a few minutes walk to shops. Recommendations for places to eat were outstanding....

I chose this hotel, in Prato, as a place to stay to visit Florence without having to drive there. The hotel was easy to find and despite a ZTL (limited traffic zone) I was able to pull up right in front of the hotel and park very conveniently. This family run hotel was immaculate, the room a decent size for...

This is a fabulous 3 star hotel. We loved our stay. We had a large comfortable room. It is a family run hotel and they were all so very friendly and helpful. We were working at Monash and it was a short walk. Great cafes and restaurants close by. We'll be back for sure.

A Customer review: 'Hotel Giardino is the center's most modern hotel, with good sized rooms for the price and location, quality built-in furniture and large, firm beds. Another plus is the Risaliti family who run it: an extremely friendly bunch who have kept their little hotel in great shape since the 1930s'. Wonderful location, as the Hotel is placed at the corner of Duomo Square (with 12th century Dome - St.Stephen Cathedral with frescoes of Filippo and Filippino Lippi), in the historical center of Prato (with medieval walls and buildings), full of art, museums, historical buildings, shops, as well as fine/traditional Tuscan restaurants. Moreover, it is 5 minutes walk from the Monash Centre and about 3km from the business area of Macrolotto. The city and its surrounding area offer interesting and prestigious artistic itineraries, nature and gastronomy. An ideal base for exploring the Tuscany region. ... more   less
