I spent a night here. The location is incredible right in the center of town and facing the old castle. House and rooms are beautiful and the host is warm and inviting. Without question, I would stay here again.
Lovely accommodation, beautiful decor, centrally located, charming owners. Located in a former palazzo, tastefully presented, great breakfast, with peaceful courtyard and terrace overlooking one of the main squares and the castle. 2 minute walk to Monash University also helped. A bit noisy at night, but closing the windows blocks out the sound. Can't say much better than that!
We wanted to be in the town center of Prato and that is exactly what we got. This establishment is lovely, well decorated and very comfortable. Situated inside the fortress walls of the city and on a piazza this is a great location for those who enjoy wandering around the city on foot. The couple who manage the B&B are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms and the common areas, including a lovely walled in garden were charming. Parking is available, we just left our car there for the 2 days and took a taxi if we needed to go any distance outside of the old town. Highly recommended!
Best accomodation we have experienced in Prato through the years. Spacious, beautiful, high standard and high service level. Parking is near by and you have all shops and restaurants just outside the door. Due to the perfect location and easy access we saved alot of time. It was just perfect. Will be back for sure!
I stayed here whilst at a conference at Monash uni. It's ideally located in the centre of the town literally opposite the castle which is a lovely setting for evening drinks on the terrace. My room was on the ground floor with a separate bathroom which I hadn't quite picked up on when booking, it wasn't the end of the world but was a little bit of a faff. The bathroom was big with a jacuzzi bath but it was a few doors down the corridor and although they provided a dressing gown to run down the corridor in, I would have preferred an ensuite. The staff were lovely, my flight was delayed so by the time I got to Prato it was almost 9pm but I had a message from Andrea the owner who said to just message him and he would come let me in. Breakfast was simple but sufficient for me. Overall I thought it a lovely little place and ideally located so would stay again if I went back to Prato.…
