My family had a wonderful time at this hotel, even through the weather did not corporate in late September. It is in the perfect location to view the sunset (a rarity on the coast). View from the balcony was spectacular. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very professional. They responded immediately to anything we needed. I was initially worried about getting around the coast from here, since we did not have a car. But it turned out it was very easy to grab the bus right in front of the hotel (there seemed to be several operators). I also know they have a seasonal water taxi that can be reached down by the water. Loved this place despite our short stay. Would stay again in a second, but choose to visit in early September instead of late September. Rosa and the staff were just amazing! Truly made us feel valued and right at home.

A quiet, exceptionally clean hotel offering a tranquil stay.  In my opinion this is more of a couples hotel than a family one as there is no area for children to play nor a separate children's pool. We took a taxi from Naples Airport, which cost 170€ (double fair outside the city limits) and the journey took about an hour and a half due to the volume of traffic. We were lucky to be in a position to book a seaview room with a large terrace and sun loungers included.  This gave us the relaxing break we hoped for.  The air conditioning was a little temperamental at times and there were no tea and coffee facilities in our room.  However these were only slight inconveniences and we made the best of what we did have as our room was very comfortable, and had an excellent rainfall shower. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of cold dishes and hot drinks, and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and ensured everything was on point. Andrea, the lifeguard, was quite a character and his knowledge of the local area was impressive.  He recommended places to eat and best transport options.  He made the pool area his own with a wide selection of pool side music but was equally happy to oblige with residents own choice of music favourites.  He demonstrated high standards and kept the pool area clean and tidy, as well as providing pool side snacks and drinks.  Pool towels provided free of charge. Rosa on reception made us feel very welcome, had good local knowledge and was more than happy to offer advice on bookings and places to eat or places  of local interest.  In my opinion, she takes an active interest in all residents and likes to ensure that residents have a good customer experience at Hotel Il Pino. Special thanks to all the hotel staff for making our stay here so good, and especially Vincenzo, who indulged me in my quest to improve my Italian speaking. I have been learning the language for the last two years, and I was keen to have a go at formulating sentences even if not always grammatically correct. I would highly recommend Hotel Il Pino in Praiano as a good base to stay on the Amalfi Coast.  It is a small, quiet hotel in a quiet town offering a home away from home holiday break, and providing you are not governed by the clock you can reach the more touristy spots using public transport or taxis within a reasonable amount of time.  We were sad to leave such a nice place. The roads along the coast are narrow and windy, reaching some very high places with amazing views, and inevitably there is an element of negotiation amongst bus drivers, lorries, cars and taxis to ensure passing is done safely.  This all adds to the experience of holidaying on the Amafi Coast.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it. The staff was incredibly helpful and communicative both before and during our stay. They helped with activity and restaurant recommendations. The room had a great view and the pool in the afternoon was both relaxing and fun. Great location with good restaurants right in Praiano but also easy to get to other locations on the coast by bus. The restaurant on-site serves amazing seafood with friendly staff who have some surprises up their sleeves.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and spent most of the trip on our balcony enjoying the view. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful and our room was great. This is a great way to avoid the Positano crowds and enjoy the amalfi coast.

We stayed for a week at Hotel il Pino and were looked after so well by all the staff primarily the Manager Rosa. All of the team were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are authentic and cosy, with sea-view balconies overlooking the private pool. The breakfast was delicious and all restaurant recommendations were excellent! It's a perfect location on the Amalfi Coast. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the coast. We will be returning very soon!

Wonderful place to rest. Very easy to park the e-bike. Terrific sunset behind Capri at the end of october. Pool really nice. Also the restaurant is not bad and not too much expensive. Full moon over positano at sunrise.

We were fortunate to spend 3 days at Il Pino while on a family vacation in Italy. The location is excellent, close to everything and just far away to be a bit more secluded. I cannot say enough about the staff who were all welcoming and accommodating. The pool ranked as one of the highest favorites of ours.. sitting in the waters, overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Thank you Graziella for having us spend a wonderful break from our daily routines.

Graziella and her amazing staff go above and beyond to satisfy guests at this perfectly positioned boutique hotel in Praiano. We loved Assunta's breakfasts, and their pool overlooking the sea is incredible. We will be back, hopefully soon.
