Luigi and family are amazing! So hospitable, kind and generous. The accommodation is so comfortable I wanted to stay longer! Thank you Luigi and family for your hospitality and the amazing food, I had a memorable time. Your guidance and recommendations were so helpful and I hope to be back again some day!
Wow! Where do I even start with this review. I can honestly say of all the hotels I’ve ever stayed in, this is my favourite and one I intend to return to time and time again. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like family. This is a family run hotel in the heart of Praiano, perfect distance from Positano on one side and Amalfi on the other. The family are the most friendly, welcoming, loveliest people - I don’t have enough words to describe them! Firstly we arrived at 11am in the morning following a long drive, expecting to be told that our room wouldn’t be ready and we would have to return. Instead, we could not have been made to feel any more welcome. We were checked in straight away and asked to meet Luigi (dad) on the top floor. We did this and were welcomed with coffees and a selection of cakes after our journey. We knew then this was the start of an amazing stay. Luigi (dad) could not do enough to help us from parking our car to becoming a taxi service to and from the dock and Positano. Alessia (older daughter) basically became our tour guide - organising water taxis, bus tickets, boat trips and did it all with a smile on her face and professionalism in her approach. The food at this hotel is outstanding and all prepared fresh by Daniela (younger daughter and chef) and delivered to our tables by the charming Federico (younger son). Our room was equally as beautiful as the family. So clean and typically Italian with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. I cannot explain how wonderful our stay was. The attention to detail from the family was amazing. The food was outstanding and I cannot understand how this hotel is not 5 star. I cannot wait to book in again to stay again.…
Everything about this hotel is impressive. The owner Luigi and his staff/family are extremely helpful and assisted my wife and I with transport, bookings and activity advice. The hotel itself is luxurious/classy and our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony view of the water near Praiano. The included breakfast was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and the portion size was very generous. Location is fantastic; 5 minute walk to Praiano or Luigi will happily drop you into town or even over to Positano. We did the Path of the Gods hike leaving at 6am on our last day and Luigi was more than happy to pack us a beautiful breakfast for the hike as we would miss it at the hotel.. And also collect us from the trail end! All in all, a lovely experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amalfi! Thanks again Luigi and the broader team!! …
This is a family owned and operated hotel. It is exquisitely beautiful over looking Praiano and the Mediterranean. The family could not be friendlier or more attentive. The included breakfast is amazing in its selection and munching deliciousness. Our latest stay was for our wedding and as vegans the chief prepared a menu that was outstanding. The selections were true to the Amalfi coast, incredibly tasty, and visual works of art. The dinning room is a top floor terrace and if you go please dine there at least once during sunset. The decor of the hotel is special with tile, art work, fine details, and on & on…. There is off street parking if you drive and the Hotel will shuttle you to nearby attractions like Positano, Praiano, and the beach. This was our second stay and we will be back! If you are planning a visit to the Amalfi coast the Hotel Pellegrino is a special place that should not be missed.…
All the rave reviews are true! We stayed four nights and it could not have been better. The rooms are very pretty and very clean. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C worked very well. Breakfast is amazing and dinner was delicious. The family that runs this hotel is truly exceptional. Don’t hesitate to book your visit to the Amalfi Coast here!
Amazing stay. We had so much fun and the staff is so amazing and welcoming! The rooms are amazing, the breakfast is great, and the view stunning. They helped us and drove us to Positano so it was very convenient. Definitely coming back to this hotel.
Hotel Pellegrino is a jem! It’s run by a family of five that amazingly run the hotel, bar, restaurant and shuttle service. I’ve never seen people work harder but always with a smile and willing to stop and chat or ask us what else we need. We were two families traveling with four small children and Hotel Pellegrino was so kind helping us with everything that we could need. Can’t wait to go back!
Skip the expensive hotels in Positano and stay in this stunning hotel in Praiano! This family-run hotel offers everything you could possibly want on a trip. For starters, their breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the best we had on our vacation & the dinner was also fantastic. The view from your personal flower-lined terrace is a fabulous way to start or end the day. The hospitality from Luigi and his family is next level - offering laundry services, a free shuttle to and from Positano, and helping plan activities and itineraries for day trips to Ravello and Amalfi. We were so impressed by Frederico (Luigi's son) as he runs the front desk, is your waiter at the restaurant and an excellent trip advisor! Plus, he's incredibly personable and really helped make our trip memorable. Anyone staying along the Amalfi Coast should DEFINITELY stay at Hotel Pellegrino.…
We loved this hotel, it was just tastefully remodeled a few weeks before we got there with period and locality correct tiles, huge bathroom/shower, Big screen smart TV, awesome cold AC and an amazing terrace with a walkway all covered in bucanville! Best of all we were treated like royalty by the owner Luigi, and his kids Federico, Daniela who was an most amazing Chef and another daughter who I forgot her name! Luigi brought us to Positano and the port or Praiano, other local restaurants anytime we wanted to go there and it was complimentary! But I wished I had eaten dinner there everyday because the food is to die for, even the breakfast is crazy good with a huge assortment fresh fruit cut up in a bowl, croissants, pastries, jams and scrambled eggs with fresh mozzarella, choice of cafe americano, expresso and cappuccino!…
Best experience I have ever encountered at a hotel - the most accommodating and friendly staff there is - the hotel itself is extremely clean, and the breakfast on offer is the best I’ve had. Any questions we had about the area were answered with a smile and Luigi was always offering a lift to and from dinner. First class service, I will keep coming back here. Thanks to Luigi and his family for an unforgettable stay in this gem of a hotel!
