My husband, our 2 cats and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Damiani for 10 weeks in the summer while we looked for a house. From the moment we arrived we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality by Eduardo who kindly drove us around to acquaint us to the area including the grocery store where we picked up...

Friends of ours suggested that we eat at this lovely restaurant and we were so glad we did. The food was marvellous, but, believe it or not it may have been outdone by the service. Our server Angelo looked after our every need and his recommendations were amazing. Don't miss an opportunity to eat here.

I have traveled extensively through Italy since the 90s and know how many Americans flock here for an "authentic"...

Hotel Damiani(Complesso Turistico Averno) is a wonderful location just outside of Pozzuoli, Italy. It's everything you might think of when it comes to old world charm. The food is amazing, the staff is helpful and the amenities more than meet expectations

I stayed at Averno/Damiani twice, in a bungalow when I moved to Naples and in a hotel room when I was leaving 2 years later. Eduardo went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. I wasn't exactly sure how long I would need a room, he booked me for a week and said to just...
