The location of the hotel is fabulous. Only a 5 minute walk down to the water with lots of shops to view on the way. The service and recommendations for tours has been fabulous. Great views to the water, local deli’s nearby to stock up on drinks and nibbles. Highly recommended

We had a nice stay here, unfortunately, Positano was so crowded we wanted to leave, but couldn't because we paid in advance. Once we changed our mindset, the rest of our stay was fine. This hotel is in a state of elegant decay. It appears to have quite a bit of deferred maintenance. The breakfast looked better than it tasted. Eggs were always cold. Pastries were nothing special. No fresh fruit at all. Not impressed. However, the location is great. Right across the street from a parking lot on the main road. That's a big deal in Positano because a lot of places are far from the road and there are nothing but steps everywhere. The staff was excellent and very helpful, expect one guy that worked at night; he was very nice, but his English was very poor, so he really didn't understand what I was asking. They recommended restaurants and made reservations for us each day, which was very helpful. You must make reservations in Positano if you want to eat. We had a room with a bit of a sea view, and a balcony. But the road was so noisy, we did not want to sit on the balcony. However, the doors to the balcony were soundproof, so there was no problem with street noise. The air conditioning was necessary. The shower was extremely small and I'm not a big person, but we managed. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't go in early June. It was too crowded and expensive. There really is nothing to do in Positano but shop. I think I would have preferred Ravello. We took a day trip there and it was lovely.

Fabulous hotel in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the seafront and beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops within seconds of the hotel. Easy to get tours and ferries from this location and Giovanni is always happy to recommend things to do and places to eat- most accommodating. A great stay in a lovely hotel, very clean and modern with friendly staff- we would love to return! Can not recommend highly enough 10/10

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location - a 10 minute stroll down to the sea front and beautiful cobbled streets right on your doorstop. The breakfast was lovely and exceeded my expectations. The staff couldn't be more helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future.

It's a nightmare driving at the coast and parking. Fortunately there are garages. The hotel offers discounted price of 25 euros at the garage just opposite. If you have heavy luggage like I, grab only some stuff in a day bag. Otherwise you drag your luggage up lots of stairs or pay porters another 10 euros. The properties are all like this. Check in was fast. Key card seems secure. Room was clean but the bathroom has a moldy smell from not having ventilation although they have an exhaust. Not pleasant. The rooms consist of 2 rows, one with view to the coast and the other, mine, with no view but a high window that you close with a switch. My room's shower head was leaking and the flush wouldn't stop filling after usage. The glass shower still had stains on them. Told the reception and she fixed the flush but not the shower. The officer in the evening was apologetic but exasperated as he said they could not get the plumber at that time. Hope they fix it before the next guest. Bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Tv had English channels. Wifi was good even in the room. Breakfast was good with variety. The staff were all very helpful. They try their best but for the price 179 euros I expected better although it must be just the coast that is expensive.
