I have always used tripadvisor to plan all of our many trips, so I figured that I needed to write about our amazing experience at Hotel Marincanto! We went to Positano for our Honeymoon in the beginning of June. Hotel Marincanto was everything that we wanted and more. We were upgraded to an amazing room (room 256)with a huge terrace...

I stayed here the last week in June and had the time of my life. If I am ever lucky enough to go back to Positano, I would stay here every time. The view is the best the town can offer. The room size was plenty big, the balcony seating area was unbelievable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I...

The Marincanto was the fourth of five properties my husband and I stayed at for our 16 night wedding anniversary trip - our stay was absolutely flawless. I contacted the Marincanto eight months or so in advance to inquire about a photo I had seen on their website. The picture was a balcony with the most exquisite, perfect views of...

We stayed at Hotel Marincanto as part of our 18-day Honeymoon to Italy. After a long day traveling from the Cinque Terre, we were so happy to finally make it to Positano. The pictures of this beautiful town do not do it justice....it is one of the most picturesque places I have ever visited. The town with its winding streets,...

We had four nights at the end of a three week family trip around Italy and staying at this hotel and at Positano was a real highlight. The setting is magnificent, with stunning views -the pool was a godsend (particularly with four kids) as it is hot and Gianni who looks after you at the pool was brilliant, many small...

This was the first hotel we stayed at. It was amazing. The room was so comfortable, the view was to die for, and the staff was wonderful. We stayed at several other hotels over Italy in the next two weeks, but we kept reaching back in our minds to this one. I can't even imagine that the high end hotels...

We spent a wonderful week at the end of June at Hotel Marincanto and it was one of the best stays I have ever had.. for several reasons. The location itself, in Positano, is ideal. We did a few day trips to Capri and Amalfi, and loved coming back to peaceful Positano at the end of the day... Having a...

This was my first visit to Positano and I am so delighted we found Hotel Marincanto thanks to all the rave reviews on Trip Advisor. The location is perfect - close enough to the action of the beach and shops, but high enough up to offer the breathtaking view that we visit Positano for. We would have been terribly disappointed...

Can't fault Hotel Maricanto. We stayed for four nights as part of our honeymoon in Italy and did not want to come home. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. The location is superb and we had great views of both the sea and town from our balcony - think we had a junior suite (208) complete with jaccuzi...

Of all the hotels we searched for in Italy, I did the most research about Positano, since it was expensive and there seemed to be a few equivalent options. I was so glad that we chose Marincanto. If views are important to you, this is your hotel. It is not necessary to get caught up in requesting a specific room....
