Although it is still a climb from the beach (112 steps), it is considered close compared to most other hotels in Positano. It's a fairly short and not too hilly walk to the center of town from La Dolce Vita. The included breakfast is now served in her garden with a huge lemon tree for shade and stunning views of...

This place surpassed our expectations. Its situated looking over a lovely small beach, away from the main area. Although this is difficult to carry the bags to, this can be overcome by using the town porters, carrying the bags from the top of the town isnt really worth it, spend a few euros and enjoy the walk. The owner is...

Absolutely loved our stay with Maryse at her place! Gorgeous view of the water and Fornillo beach (off the main beach)! We had a wonderful terrace, could listen to the waves while we lay in bed! We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely would come back! Clean room, upgraded bathrooms and comfy bed! Daily cleaning as well! Close...

We are a family with two teen sons. We had two adjoining rooms which shared a terrace on the ground floor of this well-maintained B&B during high season. The rooms were not musty, nor did they smell old. Whatever renovations were done since reviews of a few years ago seems to have solved that problem. The bathrooms were super... though...

Views amazing and rooms pretty nice but make sure you work out porter service prior unless you are traveling light or pretty fit and have been on the stair climber. Price also very fair and I enjoyed the breakfast and the beach is only 100 steps away

Away from the busy crowds in Positano and yet just a short stroll or boat ride away is this lovely B&B. The owner and proprietor is Maryse, a charming, French born lady who was happy to help us with all our needs. Our family occupied 3 lovely rooms overlooking the sea. It was our own little compound for our 3...

La Dolce Vita was the perfect place to spend the last 3 days of our Europe vacation! It sits atop the smaller pebble beach (Spiaggia del Fornillo) away from the hoards of tourists at its main beach, giving you a chance to actually relax and listen to the ocean. The view from our room looked straight out over the water,...

5 nights in beautiful Positano......in a great B&B! Thanks to Maryse who was a terrific host, we enjoyed meeting you and thank you for your warm hospitality. Our triple room had adequate space for us to spread out and the facilities were very good and clean. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast delivered to our room every morning, fruit, yoghurt and...

We spent 5 nights at La Dolce Vita, Maryse was always helpful, offered suggestions and provided enormous breakfasts each morning. The views from our room were majestic, we were able to walk to the beach for swimming and cocktails in the evening. I suggest you try to take carryon bags rather than suitcases, easier with the steps, although it is...

We loved staying here for three nights at this hidden gem of a hotel. Maryse was friendly and pleasant and tended to all our needs. The room are spacious and comfortable and done to a chic decor with antiques tastefully presented. In terms of location, we liked it, a short stroll from the main town, the path is coastal and...
