We stayed at villa Nettuno for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. It's great having a small fridge and the balconies have the best views over the whole of positano! The owner is unbelievably helpful with everything you could ever need including restaurant recommendations, travel tips and also providing glasses/plates/cutlery so we... More

Villa Nettuno has charm and character and a real traditional Italian feel. Firstly the owner is really helpful with the right level of attentiveness. We had a problem getting to our hotel (road closure)and had to miss our first night we emailed to advise & there was no issue & no charge. When we finally arrived, there was chilled water... More

Firstly, Positano is really very expensive especially with the Australian dollar in the doldrums. My friend and I wanted somewhere central with a view to stay at for 2 nights. Villa Nettuno is a gem. Granted the rooms are very simple, however they are spotlessly clean and huge by Italian standards. Add to that the magnificent view up and down... More

I stayed at Villa Nettuno in July 2015 for two nights and enjoyed my stay there. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The view was nice and worth the climb! Service/Food – Our host was friendly and offered us information when we needed help planning outings, as well as our departure. Breakfast isn't included, but luckily Positano is a... More

It's a great place to stay in overall. The host is gentle and helpful and I thanked him over and over. He's not really fluent in english but he always tried best to answer to our questions. Though the furnitures are rusty, the beautiful view from the balcony will make up for everything.

A very old hotel with basic amenities with fantastic views. Room has small bar fridge and is very large by hotel standards with a balcony to enjoy a quite drink or to hand your washing! Claudio is very helpful with places to eat, rooms are serviced daily. Bed very hard and some Iv the furniture could do with an upgrade... More

This is a really nice older hotel with charm and terrific views from the balcony. Claudio greeted us warmly, was always available and very helpful. We stayed in one of the newer rooms on the top floor (a double) with a full bath. The rooms were clean, full-sized and appropriate to the vintage of the hotel. Not the fanciest hotel... More

My daughter and I stayed here and found the location was fabulous. The room was very basic and the beds quite uncomfortable but the room size was very generous and the bathroom was clean even though it was very old. The rooms are in an old villa which I'm guessing, was once a family home. The entrance and stair way... More

i can't believe that this place is rated as high as it is. Reviewers rave about the panoramic views from the rooms however there are not too many rooms in Positano where there is not a spectacular view, The manager is helpful and tries hard to please but has lost the plot. The rooms and particularly the furniture is in... More

Excellent Location. The most amazing views - the photos do not do it justice. Claudio is so helpful and friendly, gives the best eating and drinking tips. Close to any where or thing you want to do, go or eat. No car parking, nearby for 20 Euros per day. No breakfast as clearly stated, very easy to bring your own... More
