Carlos all the way, he made my stay so memorable. He treated us like family and so was his support member treating us like one. We lived in a small room which was in the second layer. Positano is designed on a mountain so please be ready to climb / get down stairs. The beach is thousand odd steps away...

As the title of the review says I have stayed here four times. It gets better every time. Free wifi, amazing views from either your room (you should ask for a room with a terrace) or from the shared terrace and amazing staff. This is a family run pensione and it has a gorgeous family feel about it. It is...

I'm in two minds whether to write this review because we love it so much we don't want it to become so popular we can't find a room on our next. Is it to Positano 😁 Carlo and his staff are lovely and so very helpful. The Pensione is in a perfect location and the walk down and back up...

Pictures really don't do justice to the amazing views to be had at this property and in Positano. Even without a sea view room, the street view is fantastic and if you want James Bond style scenary, just go up to the rooftop terrace. Said terrace was empty throughout our stay, so we pretty much had it to ourselves. The...

After a long day of travel, it was nice to check in and put our feet up. The private balcony and view of the ocean was great. The bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but the breeze was sufficient for us. Room may be a little hot during the summer without and a/c. Staff was friendly and helpful....

Made our booking online with the impression that we were going to have one of the widely advertised 'sea-view' rooms. This is Positano and waking up to that view is crucial. We arrived to find that we were giving a side room. After bringing this up with the on duty lady. She said we had got the 'partial sea-view' room...

Carlo is very sweet but the first room we had was very noisy due to people dragging themselves or their wheelie suitcases up and down the steps directly outside the window. We were moved to a room with a terrace on request (but no A/C) and the view could not be faulted. Bathroom rather strange but plenty of hot water...

Fabulous old school family run business now looked after the son of the original owners Mr Carlo..What a delight the happiest man on earth..The views are amazing, Room #4 had a gorgeous private view of the water, while the commonly used terrace provided the best view...Trust me you wont find a better price in Positano..Yes Yes..It could use a lick...

We had a very pleasant stay at Pensione Maria Luisa, we felt welcome and we developed through the days a genuine home feeling. We like the position between lower Positano and upper Positano ( Chiesa Nuova ). One of my favourite activities was doing groceries at Giovanni's Alimentari and drinking cappuccino with sfogliatina at the Bar Internazionale ( the pizza...

This is a great little pensione in Positano. Good location near the steps to Fornillo beach and near the internal bus stop. Don't make the mistake we did and not get a room with a terrace! Lucky the communal terrace is spectacular, and we didn't find it very busy either. We did have some ants in our room, but I...
