The Punta Regina is a charming and romantic hotel with 18 rooms in the heart of Positano.Originally a private villa it has been carefully restored, combining original characteristic charm with the best of contemporary features. The building lies on Via Pasitea, the main street in town, and is easily accessible.Built on four levels, the Hotel has a breath-taking view of the Mediterranean waters, that has made Positano famous. While relaxing from your terrace, not only will you enjoy the sight of "Li Galli" island and the tower "Clavel", but also the many boats sailing in the blue colored waters.

Wow--I can't say enough good things about this hotel. From even before we arrived, the staff was incredibly accomodating and did everything to make sure we had the best time. Our room was absolutely stunning with a large terrace and beautiful views--it was also spotless. The daily breakfast is what dreams are made of and I would definitely stay here again! Shout out to Gianluigi, Francesca, Emmanuela, and Josephina!

Very happy we chose the Punta Regina to stay at during our visit to Positano! The location was ideal because you were close enough to great restaurants and to the beach, but far away enough so you didn’t hear the hustle and bustle of the town center. The staff is incredibly friendly, Francesca and Gianluigi helped make our stay so comfortable and easy. I highly recommend taking a boat trip with Gianluigi on Alleria, there’s nothing like dropping into the sea from a beautiful boat! The breakfast was great, the pool offered a nice respite after climbing the endless steps, and the turn down service was such a lovely touch. Plus, the rooms are actually quite big and are very comfortable. If you book a stay here you will not regret it. I can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Punta Regina on a recommendation of a friend. It was a very pricey B&B, but I think the area is all expensive. We got a 3rd floor balcony room. It was extremely spacious and lovely with the balcony the entire width. We spent most of our time on the balcony, which had table, chairs and lounging chairs. The view from there was absolutely fabulous! One of the hosts, Francesca, was so kind and friendly. She setup a driver to/from Naples, suggested restaurants, told us about the area, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is on the top floor (4th) and also has a pool, which we never went in. The breakfast was simple: cheese, lunchmeat, grilled squash, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The pastries were our favorite by far. The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and willing to get you whatever you wanted, although I didn't know this until the last day. The restaurant also has cocktails and small food late afternoon, which we tried one day... the tuna on salad was fantastic! Note, Positano is all about walking up and down the stairs to the beach! This small hotel is probably about in the middle. There are stairs leading to the spiaggia (beach) almost right across the hotel, which is handy. The walk took us about 7-10 minutes down; a little longer coming back up! You will stay fit! Don't wear heals! One simple item I would suggest to make the trip nicer is to have water bottles brought to the room each day. We had to ask for them, and we were charged I believe 2 euro each small bottle. We ended up going to the little market several times to buy large bottles of water. Considering the expensive rooms, I think supplying bottled water for free should be expected. Our favorite thing to do was go to a little market just up the street and buy a bottle of Montepulciano wine with cheese and salami and sit on the balcony and just soak in the beauty!

Room Tip: 3rd floor has fabulous views, but do sometimes hear a loud person when restaurant is operating...

Everything about our stay here was incredible. From the interaction before we arrived (assisting with pick up at airport, answering any questions via email), to the room service, the breakfast experience, the beautiful room, clean and Covid friendly ambience, friendly staff throughout our stay. This hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Positano. Thank you Punta Regina for enhancing our Italy experience. Absolutely incredible.

We just loved our 6 night stay here. The front desk people, Francesca, Emmanuela, and Josephina were always amazingly friendly and helpful and always greeted us by name. We were treated like family. The breakfast staff were fabulous and also treated us like family. The breakfasts were excellent and outside tables had a lovely sea view. Our King room was located a few doors up in the Annex, Punta Caterina. It was like staying in our own private Villa. The room was the larger of the 3 rooms in the Annex. The all new room was gorgeous with huge terrace with fabulous view. FYI, there are a lot of stairs from street to your rooms in Annex, so if stairs are a problem then stay in the main hotel, Punta Regina. The Hotel is conveniently located on the main street in Positano yet the rooms are very quiet. Pool area is on the smaller side but beautiful with good service and of course the View! We must mention the private cruise available to book at the front desk. Captain JohnLuigi and his boat Allerria, was one of the high points of our stay. He will take you to amazing places!
