We stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights in a standard room unfortunately we booked late and all other rooms were unavailable. It was a little noisy as it fronts the street and people are always walking by. That said we were exhausted by the time we got to bed it didn’t really

Room was magnificent: large room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The view was stunning. Staff extremely helpful, especially Francesca. Breakfast buffet had everything you could want. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Great place to stay.

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
I am waffling between a 3 & 4 on this hotel. The staff is great and did all they could to resolve my disappointment when we checked in. Initially I booked the suite ( of which they have 2) for 650 euros per night . The suite was located at the end of the hall on the second floor.

This is a decent hotel that is made exponentially better by Francesca at the front desk.

We stayed in one of the rooms with the jacuzzi on the balcony, which is on the second floor. The room itself wasn't bad, but it was definitely dated, in fact the whole hotel could use a bi

I can't recommend the Punta Regina any higher. The hotel is outstanding from top to bottom.

The staff is exceptionally outgoing, warm and friendly. They clearly take notes, as each staff member seemed to know about things we had inquired about with other employees. For example,

My husband and I are staying at this hotel in May and will be travelling from Rome to Naples via train. What is the cheapest way to get from Naples train station to this hotel? It seems a private car service is the only way to go which costs approx $200AUD. Anyone got another suggestion?
We did a similar trip, Rome to Naples on the frecciarossa(fast train) then got on the circumvesuviana to Pompeii. Left our luggage in a secure storage while we were exploring and then got a private driver to the hotel. The first train was great, the second was probably one of the worst experiences we have had. There was standing room only and very packed, and very hot. The driver to Punta Regina was booked by Francesca at the hotel, and they were very professional and friendly. The drive was amazing and definitely worth it - convenience and view! For reference it was €110. Frecciarossa from Rome to Naples was €22.5 each and the train to Pompeii cost €2.8 each.

Hello.... How far is the ferry stop from the hotel? If we arrive by ferry to Positano, is it possible to walk to the hotel? We will have small suitcases. Thanks!
Yes, you will be able to walk to the hotel. The hotel is way up on the hill--you can walk the windy streets or find the steps that wind their way up. An option is to have the hotel send down people (they are not associated with hotel) to bring your suitcases bags up to the hotel so that you can walk more easily (steps not great for rolling suitcases!), pay for that, have your suitcases meet you there. I have to say I was a bit nervous until we actually got the bags, some time after we were checked in. But all was well and very typically what folks do when they are checking in and out. It's not a quick walk, but a cool one and not a problem if you like to walk in general. I'm so jealous that you're going! I would go back in a minute!!

Hello, i will be 30 weeks pregnant when we visit this hotel.. .Do you think that the hills are too much, if we wanted to reach the beach to take the ferry and visit the shops?
Hi There - the problem you MAY have is getting back up the hill. The hotel is amazing, but at 30 weeks pregnant you will probably find it tough going up the hill.

Are any of the better rated Positano hotels or villas nonsmoking? Spouse has asthma and we both absolutely hate cigarette smoke, but for him it's more a health concern.
We never had any problem with rooms or hallways smelling of smoke.

My husband and I planing our anniversary trip to Positano and can't decide between Punta Regina and Palazzo Murat. Please advise !
Both are very nice 4 stars Hotel with pool, different is the location, Palazzo Murat is an historical building more central, Punta Regina much higher and panoramic. The Punta Regina is a very small boutique Hotel with 19 rooms only with, the Murat instead is much bigger and has restaurant.. Your choice is much on your personal taste, I hope to have been helpful. My best Benedetta
