This Hotel quite simply ticks every box for location, comfort, luxury, warm, friendly, professional, innovation and guest experience. As the weather weather was very 'mixed' during my time there I also had the opportunity to participate in a Wine Tasting Experience too which was a wonderful surprise and well worth the time.

Incredible, luxurious and romantic. From the moment we checked in, they greeted us with genuine warmth and a glass of lovely strawberry champagne - the staff rememebered and greeted us by our names everyday. Dripping in glamour throughout, fabulous terraces, magnificent guest rooms and all the facilities are first class. The food was second to none; we ate at Zass Restaurant, which has a Michelin star and incredible views. The restaurant on the private beach offers some beautiful, fresh salads, and some of the produce is grown on-site. Working out, underneath the lemon trees with draw-dropping sea views = spectacular. IL San Pietro will forever be my all-time favourite place...honestly, I could have stayed forever!

We have just come back from 4 nights in Positano and stayed at the Il San Pietro. The hotel has a stunning location and we had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. The food is good and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms is exceptional This hotel is probably not suitable for young children or anyone who is infirm as it has some very steep areas, although there are lifts

Well, it gets 5 stars by many reviewers for good reason. I'm no great or regular reviewer but... Having decided to stay for a couple of nights after a visit to Naples, it was so wonderful that we stayed a further night. Many reviewers have rightly praised the location (sensational), the rooms (sublime views out to sea), the food (outstanding), amenities (amazing) and so on. But the thing that stands out the most was the staff. Not only are the staff in abundance they are super-polite, charming and helpful, no matter what the question, issue or time of day. I have rarely experienced this level of service. It is obvious they are a great team and the hotel seems more like a family as a result. When we left the manager called his colleague at our next destination, some 7 hours drive away, to let him know of our journey and arrival. The cliche - "you don't want to leave" sums up this amazing hotel and even more amazing staff. Thank you Mr Zana and your team.
