I have been Positano twice. First time I stayed at the highly rated 5 star San Pietro. Beautiful hotel, but very expensive and not in the center of town. This trip we stayed at the Murat and it was great. Located in the center of the town, so it was easy to get around. Friendly and courteous staff, lovely mini-suites...

Our room at the end of the main wing (Special Superior) offered more space, privacy, and light than the other new ones--which are great rooms too, by the way. We did not regret skipping the Deluxe ones, which are in the older part of the building. There are two rooms in this Special Superior category, the lower one with a...

We stayed in this gorgeous hotel for 3 nights, followed by 2 nights in Sorrento.. we wish we had of just spent out whole time here. Great location 5 minutes walk either up the hill for the views or down towards the beach but it really is in the heart of all the little cobbled streets full of the boutique...

The setting is spectacular and the location is perfect. Along the main shopping street in Positano, but once you enter the courtyard The touristy part of Positano melts away and you are in a beautiful palazzo being pampered. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, linens at least 2 maid services per day. seemed more like a 5 star than a 4 star....

The location of the hotel is great, just a 5 minute walk from the beach and in the heart of the old streets of Positano. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and terrace where you can have breakfast or enjoy dinner. The rooms themselves are nothing special but the views from the terrace are great. Overall a very good...

A two minute walk from the beginning of the pedestrian only part of Positano brings you to the Hotel Palazzo Murat, the former palace of the King of Naples. The rooms were lovely and the courtyard was a tranquil oasis in a sea of tourist shops and restaurants that is Positano. We had a problem with our rental car and...

An incredible hotel that pays tribute to its heritage. This building is centrally located and kept in immaculate condition in every way. The staff are friendly and not imposing. The rooms are elegant and the breakfast they provide are better than expected. Alongside cereal, bread, bacon and eggs is the most impressive fresh pastries and cakes all made on site...

As you can probably tell by the title of this review, I was impressed by this simply stunning place. Although it was expensive, I came here for a special occasion and it was definitely worth it because it was such a lovely experience. Positano is very picturesque and the hotel is equally as attractive, set in lovely gardens and stunning...

Palazzo Murat is the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at!! We had a horrible day of travelling and didn't arrive until about 9.30 at night. The staff were wonderful!! They gave us a glass of lemonade each because they saw how tired and flustered we were. We had a garden view from and it was wonderful! The room...
