Hard to go past the other reviews. Large spacious room, large bathroom, very good storage space so you can unpack, kind of dressing area that gave even more space, lovely balcony with views of the church and sea, very nice piazza for drinks in the evening, good breakfast and lovely grounds and pool. Bit I particularly liked was that the... More

My boyfriend and I booked the Palazzo Murat for a week in high season based on the reviews we had read online and the beautiful pictures. We were not disappointed. Our room was stunning with our balcony overlooking the church/sea/positanto cliffs. The restaurant is so pretty amongst the lemon trees and the food at breakfast was great (lots of choice)... More

If you're like us, and have spent hours looking at where to stay in Amalfi/Positano, look no further. Yes the price is quite expensive for a 4 star, however it does not feel like a four star and is worth every penny. The hotel is easily in the best location in all of Positano. The room ins't the biggest but... More

I must admit that when we first saw our room, I was a little underwhelmed. I think that given the cost, I was expecting to be wowed when we saw the room. However, by morning my perspective had changed. The room was traditional Italian, with white tiles, nice balcony (with amazing view of Positano) and a large bathroom (by hotel... More

I am a history lover and it being our honeymoon was grateful my husband booked us in at the Palazzo Murat. We had an amazing stay at Palazzo Murat, we were upgraded upon arriving to a Junior Suite. The suite was amazing with original historic elements in our room, the original doors from Napoleon's time juxtaposing some of the contemporary... More

It was our first visit to Positano and we wanted to make sure to stay at a decent place, so we searched and came upon this place. We very much liked the service and the room, breakfast was really cool where you get to sit outside surrounded by a nice garden. We got this beautiful room w/ great view, got... More

Very glad we chose this hotel as it's perfectly positioned in the main part of town but is like stepping into a quiet oasis. Beautiful gardens and pool area with the church and beach as a backdrop and our garden view room was absolute luxury. The balcony overlooking the gardens was huge and so relaxing to sit with a glass... More

What an amazing hotel. The amazing staff was extremely helpful every step of the way. The rooms are clean, property is well maintained and breakfast is delicious. The hotel has a free boat to take guests around the coast but we didnt get a chance to explore it, we had to much to do in so little time. Easy access... More

Stayed here for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. We were obsessed with our private terrace and has breakfast brought to the room so we could enjoy it first thing. We had a lovely view of the gardens and the water. Pool area was also extremely relaxing. This was the perfect way to start... More

My wife and I stumbled upon the Palazzo Murat last September when we were in town for the day. When we went home we booked four rooms for our family of eight for the following June. We were placed in the most gorgeous balcony rooms overlooking the ocean. The rooms were truly spectacular. However, that is just the start! When... More
