I know when you start planning a trip to Positano you look at the photos of these amazing views from cliffs... just know when you book this hotel, that will not be your view. It didn't bother me at all as I had done enough...More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in October. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town- an easy walk to the water. The king size bed was very comfortable and the balcony view was lovely.
Where do I start ? From the time we arrived at the jaw dropping entrance to this magnificent hotel I felt like a Princess. This hotel probably has the best position in Positana. Set on probably the only flat land, with huge grounds (in Positana...More

As you get close, look to your right for a sign that says "Parcheggio". It's by a fork in the road where you would bear left to keep driving. This is the parking for Palazzo Murat. It's a pedestrian area so go slow. They will take your luggage and then you walk down a passageway to the hotel. It is a magical place. You will love the hotel (location is perfect) as well as Positano. Can walk down to the beach from hotel as well. Hotel grounds for breakfast, dinner, pool all wonderful.

We also worked with the Hotel to book care service from Naples airport to the Hotel (just two of us but I'm sure they will have larger vehicles). It was around $135.00 USD and well worth it. Took about 1.5hrs but we were able to relax and enjoy the specular views all around. Once we got close to Positano, the traffic became very heavy due to the narrow roads.
Enjoy your visit - the hotel is heavenly and the Amalfi Coast is truly a marvelous place.
