This hotel is in a great location, hotel and rooms are very nice. Breakfast is very nice, pool is ok and the bar is nice. The water tour they offer free of charge of the bay is fantastic. Only bad thing is the bathtub is very uncomfortable it is very small for the feet. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much, we had one of the spacious rooms overlooking the bay ( although not directly on the bay) that required walking up several stairs that were outside. Near the center of Positano which made navigating the steep walkways more tolerable. A 10 minute walk down to the waters edge. Very private setting and enjoyable dining...

We have been visiting Positano for years and although we do not stay here we have eaten at the gardens restaurant several times. As others have mentioned the views are breathtaking. The Gardens has a nice menu, something for everyone. The food is really good, the service is excellent and they have a decent selection of wines. We have eaten...

Really excellent views of Positano and wonderful service The gardens restaurant is totally lovey with live floral displays and great antipasto with wonderful Italian pastries and gelato. The rooms are large and clean clean clean but expensive.

we just returned from our annual fall visit the Amalfi coast Over the years we have stayed in most of the 5 star hotels in Positano. As far as I'm concerned the best is the Palazzo Murat. the location is perfect, the staff friendly and courteous, and the rooms in the old building have an old world European charm. I...

We were on a day trip to Positano...and so was the rest of the world it seemed. It was so busy and so hot and we were desperate for a drink but everywhere near the front was jammed. So we started the walk back up the hill and found the entrance to the Palazzo Murat Hotel. We sat at a...

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September 2016 as the start of our honeymoon. Coming into the hotel off the busy pedestrian street is like entering an oasis of luxury and calm. It was great waking up to views of Positano. It's really central so very easy to get out and about and try lots of...

We have stayed at Hotel Palazzo Murat 3 times and each time it has excelled our expectations, wonderful position, the first time we stayed there was no restaurant only breakfast, now there is a fantastic restaurant and a pool which wasn't there when we were there last.

Grand old palazzo. We stayed in the annex. Right in the centre of town, 5 minutes from the beach. I sprained my wrist while there, and the hotel were very kind and sorted me out. Beautiful garden, lovely swimming pool, brilliant breakfast in the courtyard.

We loved the Hotel Palazzo Murat. This historic home is refined and elegant and just a sanctuary in the middle of busy Positano. The staff is uniformly wonderful, and we loved Antonio. He made us feel like a part of the family, and gave great advice about restaurants, touring around including where to grab the busy and the ferries. The...
