I normally don't leave reviews, but this is one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Ricardo and his colleagues were incredibly friendly and always prepared to help us with any questions we had. The room was extremely clean and the hotel itself was the perfect walking distance from the main street of Positano but not located in the hustle and bustle. The view from the terrace is also amazing!

The warm welcome of Riccardo at Il Moro di Positano and the breath-taking views from the public and private patios make all the town stairs up and down worth walking. Opening our balcony doors each morning to the view down over the buildings below to the blue sea and across to the high hills and sheer rocky mountains above was pure joy. Riccardo was everything you could wish for in a host. Always smiling and willing to make dinner recommendations and special tips to ease daytime activity plans. Switching languages flawlessly depending on the nationality of the guests. The rain shower and bidet in the bath added to the feel of luxury. The vast, varied spread of choices at the breakfast buffet set us up for each adventurous day. This B&B was certainly great value for the money and it was clear that the manager’s heart was in pleasing his guests. We were so happy to have stayed our 4 nights in Positano here at Il Moro.

Il Moro is a fantastic place to stay at with amazing views of the town and the ocean and spotless rooms. The service was IMPECCABLE and Ricardo made us feel right like at home. If you are looking for a boutique hotel away from the crowds, Il Moro di Positano is definitely the right place. 10/10 recommend.

If you are looking for a lovely boutique hotel with an expansive view of Positano, look no further than IL MORO POSITANO. It is very clean, well appointed, and your stay includes a delicious breakfast with a vast array of offerings. Although, I did not need to use it, they can accommodate your vehicle in their on site garage for a reasonable fee. The hotel has a laid back, peaceful vibe, and yet the staff is readily available to help with any reasonable request. I must close by thanking the on site manager, RICARDO, for making my stay pleasurable with his "can do" attitude! The hotel was booked to capacity and I observed that he gave every guest superb attention...doing everything possible to accommodate their needs.

We stayed here in a deluxe room with balcony for three nights. We loved the room! The shower was so nice with the blue tile and long window! The room was spacious, clean and wonderfully appointed. Air conditioning was great and excellent wifi. Breakfast was good with enough variety to put together a hearty fare - no hot food but lots of fruit and baked goods. The staff were lovely and very helpful with directions, maps and suggestions for restaurants etc. The hotel is higher up in Positano and out of the busy areas but this does mean some extra walking in this steep terrain. We would absolutely stay here again!

Its a basic and small hotel. More of a b&b. But its clean, nice fresh feeling rooms, nice staff. Breakfast is basic continental buffet. The balcony where you can have breakfast has stunning views. Its right towards the top end of positano so be preparred for a lot of steep hills and steps. You can get a bus from town cente if you fancy giving your legs a rest. Tv, kettle, small mini bar fridge in room. Decent air con. Nice little place which is a bit more budget friendly compared to other places.

This hotel was one of the best we stayed at during our two-week trip through Italy. Impeccably clean, Everything in the rooms were in working order and modern, the breakfast was excellent, but most importantly, the people there were friendly and helpful. Ricardo (I think he is the owner) was so patient and nice with our group of early risers. He was so sweet to make us cappuccinos before breakfast officially started. He took time out of his busy morning to talk to us about plans for the day, where to go, how to get there, and what to see on our travels through Italy. I will definitely come back to Positano and won't consider staying anywhere else but here.

I fell in love with Il Moro. It was a nice, quiet hotel in Postiano. The staff was kind and polite. The rooms are beautifully decorated and a nice size. The hotel included a wonderful breakfast each morning as well. The view from our terrace was like heaven on Earth. It's a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Great little hotel. The views are awesome. The staff are friendly and the included breakfast is great. Just be prepared for a hike if your planning to go to the beach. It is about 10-15 min walk, but is fully uphill and a few hundred step. We chose this location for the view and were aware of this, but still totally recommend this place.
