We only stayed 2 nights at the end of a cycle trip, so had a few extra demands - safe bike storage, early breakfast on the day we left, a taxi booking, but we were delighted with the staff who helped out at every stage. True there wasn't a lot of English spoken, but each staff member we dealt with...

Dear Mark, many thanks for your review and for your stay in Hotel La Caletta. I'm very happy for the appreciation to our staff (for us it's very important to give the best accomodation and help to the Guests) and for the location of the hotel. About the price, consider that it is inclusive of umbrella and sun beds on...

We really loved 50's atmosphere of the hotel. Art deco, rusty, authentic feeling. Service mainly in italian only, but we managed well. Room above clear water, windows open and feel like living in a boat. Location great - nice short walk to the town and very quiet cul de sac. Beach small but stylish. We really liked the place for...

Dear Jussi, thank you so much for the review. I'm very glad that you appreciated your stay at La Caletta. I like that you loved 50's atmosphere, because the comfort room, where you stayed and that we have renovated in 2012, wants to recall those years with that kind of furniture. Thank you also for your appreciation about the location...

What La Caletta lacks in their room size, they make up for in VIEWS with an excellent staff and service. Our room #21 was the same size as the other rooms but designed in such a way, we felt we had more room..We were traveling for 5 weeks, and had a lot of luggage, so space was critical. The rooms...

Extremely expensive, 180 euros for a cold december night, breakfast was very very bare and nothing special. True, a great view but for 180 euros, we stayed 3 nights in the centre of Rome in a much better hotel. Not worth it.

Blown away by the location, right on the sea front, with private quayside for swimming off. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, nice room, good breakfast and really helpful staff. The receptionist went out of his way to help us when we arrived.

This hotel has a tremendous view since is located just beside the sea and is best suited if your are a diver going to the diving shop just below it The rooms are clean but very small , some are really basic in furniture Good breakfast choices Overpriced , however , but this is quite common among the hotels nearby

We stayed at this hotel at the end of a trip beginning on the other side of Italy. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the vibe in Porto Santo Stefano. The hotel itself was a bit of a strange place in that it was stuck in a time warp between the late sixties and early seventies. That said,...

I've paid 220 per night for a small room with a double bed plus a bed for a child, the style of the room was stuck in the 60's when la caletta was at its top, after few minutes using the room the soap holder broke, and the main window handle too, the direction has promptly fixed both, but this...

Joining a yacht party and staying with my partner I'm in the enviable position of not having chosen La Caletta. It's a charming and delightful small family run hotel on a rocky coast in a port style town on a promontory halfway between Rome and Pisa. It gets chosen because of the boats. It's clean and friendly, but in need...

This is a strange little place that we got into almost by accident. Old, rundown, noise and not very safe. Very few who could speak english, The food was very average. But the view was great from the hotel balcony over the sea.
