Stayed for a week, superior room. Rooms dated, but clean (daily cleaning was excellent). Bed comfy enough, but it’s all a bit old and tired. Great staff, no complaints there. Pool area very welcoming and well kept. Beach is redundant due to the great pool, but also because the Mola bay is very shallow and more of an estuary. The ‘beach’ suffers from sediment so no-one swims there. Breakfast is adequate but done on the cheap. Tinned fruit, juice from concentrate, only cold boiled eggs, is not ****star. Cakes, croissants, yogurts, whole fruit, bread rolls etc all good and fresh though, as was the coffee. There is someone replenishing the breakfast constantly so it never runs out. Smoking is allowed outside at the breakfast tables though, which probably suits the age of the generation staying there (In September anyway), but is unpleasant for any non-smokers. Main gripe with the room was next doors air conditioning was located on my terrace! Which means you never know if you can sit outside in relative quiet or listening to the fan on full power. This only effects the downstairs rooms though. Main road generates plenty of noise. Room did have a great view. The hotel is built on a hillside, with the rooms in blocks reaching up the hill. The image it portrays is pleasing. In theory you could walk to Porto Azzura, but the road has no pavement, and the traffic is heavy all day and evening, so I’d say it is too dangerous to try, especially with kids or a dog. I drove every time. Overall an enjoyable stay, but it should be rated 3 star, and priced accordingly.…
If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place with highest level of accommodation and service this is your place Here you can find kind and professional women and men who let you feel at home I can suggest its pool and little but nice beach
We were looking for an apartment for a week and found this complex, which was not at all what we were looking for, but it was a lovely surprise. We had a studio apartment high up with lovely vews and it was very quiet. The facilities are fairly basic, but absolutely fine for a week. The hotel part is very pretty and the swimming pool is something else and far superior to a lot of hotel pools with a nice little snack bar/bar area. There is a little beach that is hardly used. There is a tunnel connecting the pool with the hotel and this goes under a busy road. Traffic noise is not a problem. It's very close to Porto Azzuro.
A pleasant hotel with great views over the bay and comfortable rooms in a rustic Spanish theme clean and comfortable with a large balcony. Breakfast was excellent and could be taken on the terrace or inside. The nearby town of Azzuro is a excellent place for shops and restaurants and shops or just a drink. Stayed one night
My family had originally booked another location on Elba; however, my wife became Ill and I had to book a location with a friendly cancellation policy; therefore, I chose Cala di Mola, which had many positive attributes, including: Location: strategically between Porto Azzuro, CapoLiveri and not far from Portoferraio Structure: solid spanish-style houses with lovely views and kitchens for those who like to cook while on holiday The Pool: a very large clean salt-water pool The Staff and Support: the people were very nice and available; I had a problem with the kitchen, and they resolved it immediately The Restaurant: excellent cuisine and buffet with lots of choices. Once they brought me the wrong order (which was still very good), and the head of the restaurant apologized personally Running/Jogging: I have been to Elba several times, and always found running to be inconvenient; however, there is a very nice running/biking route from Cala through Naregno and CapoLiveri The Animation: Okayanimation were very nice and entertaining without being too pushy.…
