Fantastic place! We stayed here wanting to have a more authentic experience with good food and wines and more personal than a hotel experience. With only 12 rooms not too large a property, set in beautiful gardens. Ample free parking on site. Large swimming pool with shower and toilet facilities adjoining. We had this to ourselves on numerous occasion due to few people staying (slightly out of season and schools back) Our room had a large double bed, tv, AC, en suite bathroom. Toiletries. Less than ten minutes drive to the beautiful beaches, (Laura) and the stunning ruins of Paestum. Food absolutely delicious! Steak that was certainly in top three of ever had and pasta dishes with wonderful fresh and tasty ingredients. (No pizzas but you can get those in Paestum if you fancy a night out). This region being known for mozzarella, we didn’t have during our meals on site, but need to mention so if you stay you try some wherever you can (Bottega Gusto restaurant, well worth a visit) Breakfast fresh croissants, cakes, buffalo milk yogurt (delicious!) cheese, tomato’s, etc) ample choice. We were also impressed with the staff- helpful and friendly with our limited Italian, to advise on area and particularly in the restaurant with information on the food and wine. We also drove up to Cilento Volo to go on the zip line- fantastic views, only 15 mins away. Great experience and if you don’t all want to do it there is a good refreshment cafe for waiting. Would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay and the area. September weather still at 27-29C so warm enough-take your whole family, but don’t tell your neighbours so it stays unspoilt 😊
