This is a spectacular property with hosts to match. The private dinner service was the icing on the cake. Easy commute into Orvieto and great place to use as a hub for visiting places like Montepulciano and Assisi

Had a great stay of two nights, beautiful setting in a restored ancient villa. Relaxing stay with beautiful sights of the nice town of Orvieto. Also the dinner at the Locanda was absolutely lovely, including the own produced wines.

This place is such a well kept secret. A beautiful building, stylishly and cleverly architecturally renovated on a stunning hillside set amongst olive groves and vineyards off the beaten track. Luxurious light spacious accommodation. Stunning quiet pool. A great base for visiting medieval hilltop towns of Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Spello if you can tear yourself away - we did as...

We loved Locanda Palazzone - the building is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and all have amazing views, and the food and wine is excellent. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of the Italian countryside.

We stayed at Locanda Palazzone for four nights as part of our self-made honeymoon tour of Tuscany and Umbria. We were generally not disappointed with Locanda Palazzone. The location is a very short drive from Orvieto with just a few hundred metres on a flat gravel road. You are welcomed by Lodovico, who is so smoooooth. He will arrange a...
