The hotel is nicely situated along the main road in Orvieto and provide good value for money. It is within easy walking distance to the funicular that links to the railway station. The room I had was a single room, small but worked alright. If you like a sweet breakfast, the hotel is an excellent choice with lots of variaitons...

My friend and I spent 2 nights here in April on our way to Tuscany. We weren't disappointed. The staff can't be more helpful. Our room was immaculate and in room 16 there was a stunning little balcony with a view of the duomo. At breakfast, there's an amazing spread available. The waitress was professional and well organised. Being a...

The hotel is conveniently located about 150 yards uphill from the funicular, which makes connecting to the train station below very easy. When pulling luggage, this is going to be as convenient as you will find anywhere in Orvieto. From the hotel, it is a 5 minute leisurely walk to the Duomo, regardless of which path you choose to take....

the location is perfect for exploring the town and close to the funicular for travelling by train to other cities. There is secure parking nearby which should be booked with the hotel before you arrive. The bed is comfortable and the shower hot, but the room was a little 'tired' and could do with a facelift. The hosts were very...

This hotel was perfect for us. Right on the main thoroughfare, yet not noisy. Air conditioning was wonderful in late August when the days were still pretty warm. The breakfasts were really tasty and the cappuccino each morning was to die for. The front desk personnel were very helpful and cheerful. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and roomy....

Recommended to go to Orvieto and to stay in this hotel. It is a friendly hotel with room that are a little small but very well presented. It is on the 'main' street, no traffic most of the day, not allowed. Breakfast is ample.

I was travelling as a single person. The room was a good size for one person. The decor is a little dated. The outside of the hotel is quaint and medieval, much to my liking. The location is very good, close to all the major sites of the town and good access to the funicular. The breakfast was ample and...

The hotel is a gentle 5 minute stroll to the Duomo and pretty much in the centre of town with access to shops and restuarants. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room whilst not massive was clean and the bathroom was adequate. There was a lift so that saved lugging two suitcases up the stairs and I think overall...

Traveled here on a day trip from Rome with no expectations. We were met by a very friendly man who showed us to such a grand room! We wound up enjoying our stay in Orvieto that we booked a second night and considered a third. Hotel Corso was perfectly located, near the funicular in a quiet area with the duomo...

Although in many ways this is a perfectly adequate hotel with charming, if slightly dated, decor, we have to report an appalling incident on our first morning. We arrived at the breakfast room to find two tables occupied and all the rest uncleared and dirty. We waited for a while but no staff appeared. So we went to reception and...
