The hotel is a gentle 5 minute stroll to the Duomo and pretty much in the centre of town with access to shops and restuarants. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room whilst not massive was clean and the bathroom was adequate. There was a lift so that saved lugging two suitcases up the stairs and I think overall... Traveled here on a day trip from Rome with no expectations. We were met by a very friendly man who showed us to such a grand room! We wound up enjoying our stay in Orvieto that we booked a second night and considered a third. Hotel Corso was perfectly located, near the funicular in a quiet area with the duomo... More

Although in many ways this is a perfectly adequate hotel with charming, if slightly dated, decor, we have to report an appalling incident on our first morning. We arrived at the breakfast room to find two tables occupied and all the rest uncleared and dirty. We waited for a while but no staff appeared. So we went to reception and... More

Really looked forward to our stay in Orvieto. Restaurants and stores looked wonderful. After a big day, we arrived to the lobby ready to check in to two rooms. They have an elevator and wi fi, we were guided to our rooms but instead of upstairs in the hotel, our rooms were ground level in a separate entrance. Challenging locks,... More

Bit of a quirky hotel this. Had a lovely room (16) with a great little balcony overlooking gardens and to the side, people watching on the Corso Cavour (Main Street). Good bathroom and shower (door needs attention). Ceiling decoration is quite bizarre and one wonders at the mind who's idea it was! Breakfast adequate, cake lovers would say great, very... More

Hotel Corso has a great location in Orvieto, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. The rooms are fair, the breakfast is rather low-end, the noise level is mostly irritating and the staff is average. We have spent 7 weeks in Italy in the last two years and this property is close to the bottom of... More

Centrally located, less than average breakfast. Good parking, able to unload in front of hotel and then park. The staff was very nice and friendly. As you can see, the room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. Good value but I probably would recommend with lots of caveats. The hair dryer in bathroom was a throw back to... More

As you approach the entrance to the street on which this hotel is located, you will see a large sign indicating that passage is restricted to locals. Licence plate numbers are electronically captured and tickets are issued to any vehicle not register with the town as belonging to a local. Ignore the sign and drive right up to the hotel.... More

Nice hotel in Orvieto that's only a short walk from the Duomo. Friendly hosts, free wifi, a good sized breakfast with much more than ordinary Australians would eat. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We had a nice room, not very big but we didn't spend a lot of time there anyway, with all the things there are to do and see in Orvieto. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was good. Other reviewers have mentioned the parking. You should not bring a car into the... More
