Simply put, this is a great countryside property in a dramatic hilltop setting. Nicely designed spaces with character and class. Beautifully maintained and clean. A small and friendly owner-operated B&B (more so than a resort), moderately priced. Extremely quiet location in a lovely tiny collection of nice houses (village?) just 15 minutes from the center of Orvieto. May be a... More

We loved Misia. My husband and I had an adjoining room with our 2 children. The rooms were awesome. We loved the views! They were also clean and very large (especially by European standards). Giorgio was a great host- helpful but not in your space. We also loved the grounds and vistas from the path behind the hotel, enjoyed all... More

From the moment we arrived in Italy, Misia was a highlight and a wonderful memory. Georgio was amazing. The small hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Great coffee in the morning and our best night was spent on our patio enjoying local wine cheese and fruit at sunset. Must stay if you are visiting Orvieto.

False promises. Pretty room in lovely, entirely isolated location. No spa, no pool, no resort, nothing remotely resembling a resort to deserve the name spa or resort. It is just a room. Hosts not generous or especially welcoming in a country where we received much generosity. No restaurant nearby. Refrigerator in room did not work, no wifi. Please call it... More

We loved Misia and will return. They are expanding and building a restaurant. Giorgio was a wonderful host. Breakfast was mostly sweet as others have noted but there was a big bowl of fruit too as well as cereal and yogurt. Espresso was perfect and hot chocolate excellent. Welcome glass of wine was much appreciated as were the bottles of... More

We found Misia through TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. Misia sits on Rocca Ripesena, just outside Orvieto and reminded us of a small village. The main building houses the front desk, breakfast room, and several guest rooms. There are several out buildings with additional rooms, a terrace with a fantastic view, and ample parking. Giorgio, the owner and manager, was... More

Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it... Misia Country Resort is a charming resort removed from the main part of Orvieto, tucked away in the surrounding hills by the vineyards. It consists of a collection of small cottage houses that contain the rooms. Our three rooms were spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and had fantastic views of the hills and Orvieto. As we are a family, the setup... More

My friend and I recently stayed at Misia Resort. The rooms are very spacious, nice and decorated very well. We enjoyed carb loading at the breakfast dining room in the mornings. Georgio was extremely helpful and a joy to be around. He gave us great recommendations and lots of good conversation. It is located outside of Orvieto, so you should... More

We had booked another hotel in Orvieto but decided to stay here when reading the reviews. It is a wonderful collection of rooms in a small stone village on top of a hill overlooking the Umbrian hillside. Giorgio is a wonderful host and really makes you feel at home. My sister and I stayed in different rooms (and saw a... More
