We spent some nights at this hotel and were very satisfied with the rooms and the service. The staff were kind, friendly, and helped us with everything. e.g. They recommended us good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection. The hotel is ideally located since the city centre can be reached in 10-15 mins on...

We stayed at the hotel at a stop-off to Montepulciano on our road trip honeymoon in June 2015. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took the time to recommended some great restaurants and places to visit and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was absolutely humungous with a massive selection. I would highly recommend staying at this...

We spent two nights at Albergo San Biagio in September 2015. The hotel is located right at the foot of Montepulciano, the city center can be reached within 20 minutes of walking or within 5 minutes by car. The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful at any time. Our room was comfortable and clean and offered a nice view towards...

We had no plans, just driving around Tuscany and decided to spend the night here. What a lovely hotel! Everyone was so nice to us, it was like being family. We had no idea it was the weekend of the parade and wine barrel race, so lucky to be here for that! The gentleman at the front desk was very...

We stayed for three nights with our 5 year old, and enjoyed our time in Albergo San Biagio. The rooms were spotless and the indoor pool was great. At first we thought we'd miss an outdoor pool but actually having one inside was a lovely break from the sunshine! We were shown several rooms and offered our pick which we...

Stayed 1 night here with my boyfriend as part of a trip round Tuscany. We could easily have stayed longer though! The hotel is just off the road within walking distance (up a very steep hill) to Montepulciano. The road outside is not very busy though so we didn't notice any noise. We received a very friendly welcome and were...

We stayed for one night on our way to Umbria, though the family would have happily stayed on for longer. The hotel was around the corner from a fantastic restaurant where we sat outside and enjoyed a view of the church. Breakfast was great--several delicious Italian pastries were enjoyed, along with yogurt, fruits, and cereal. The friendly brother and sister...

Really adored this place. Close (1km) to the town although via a very steep upward hill walk. Great views from the room and superb hospitality especially from Signora Tatiana who spoiled my husband with free drinks on his birthday. Lovely outside terrace for breakfast or anytime again with great views.

Great Hotel! People working there are super nice and make you feel welcome at any conversation. You feel like you are invited in their home. Great sightseeing tips. Rooms are spacious and the views are breathtaking. You can hear the road but its not busy at night so not really a minus point. The pool is not huge but big...

“Try to get a room facing the old city center on the hill else the view may be disappointing. It may cost slightly extra but it would be worth it if you plan to spend some time at the hotel.”

“By restaurant I mean the breakfast being served. Rooms facing the rear are quieter. The front rooms face the main street and can be a little noisy in the late morning as truck and auto movement increases. Also, two barking dogs located nearby can be an annoyance at times. They were usually quiet during our sleep periods.”
