Residenza Fabroni is a magical place! It is centrally located to everything in Montepulciano, and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. We had a group of 5 and rented the Red Suite and Blue Suite(s), which were perfect for our group. The views from the Red Suite were simply breathtaking. Valentina was extremely helpful in getting us checked in, helping to park our car, and giving great suggestions for places to eat and shop. The breakfasts were made to order and delicious! The house parlor was a perfect space for us to unwind from our day. This historical home is one-of-a-kind and a unique experience to stay in a place still furnished with many of the beautiful original pieces! We will be back!
Stayed 3 nights over New Year in 2 bed suite. Excellent support from Valentina in pre-booking restaurants & general advice, even helping guide my husband in the drive through the pedestrian area to the parking space (pretty hairy at first but you get used to it!). Very centrally situated with easy access to shops, banks, restaurants & wine bars. The 3 apartments share a beautifully appointed lounge & dining room. My daughter had to study for her Masters exams every day but sitting with a 180 degree view over the Tuscan countryside must have been inspirational - she got a distinction! Valentina kindly left a pot of coffee on for her during her studies which was much appreciated. The roof terrace is unbelievable! On New Years Eve we popped a cork up there under the brightest moon with the most incredible views. Very special! There are several excellent restaurants in town & I loved visiting the wine cellars, which are free to roam through. Everywhere was so friendly :) Without a doubt, Residenza Fabroni & Montepulciano were the absolute highlight of our Tuscan tour. I don't usually revisit places but know this will be an exception. Belissimo!…
Wow, this place is amazing. We stayed in the Red suite, it had the most amazing views. The room was a great size. Valentina was an excellent host and recommended some towns for us to visit, which were great. Breakfasts were great and we met some interesting people who were also staying there. I liked that the Residence is still owned by the Fabroni family and a number of the furnishings are from the time they lived there. It's a great location too.
Most unique, classic and period-esque feeling apartment I have ever entered. Aside from the gorgeous, spacious and unique rooms with all original (well taken-care of) furnishings and the completely generous, gracious and attentive Valentina, there is a terrace with view you would not believe The breakfast alone was enough to stay again, do yourself a favor and enjoy.
First we want to thank Valentina for her good care, hospitality and great recommendations for local activities, sited and lovely restaurants- Grazie milie. We booked the upstairs suite which was lovely, every detail was well thought we loved it. The house itself is an historical house beautiful and well maintained, we could use the living room the dinning room and the roof top , all are wonderfully designed and maintained. Location is absolutely great right in the heart of the historical part of the town, nice Tuscan village atmosphere lovely shops and restaurants to enjoy if you want to stay in. Parking is available with permit issued by Valentina free- this was great value. We liked our stay very much and hope to comeback
