I have grown fond of Trip Advisor highly recommended hotels, but you do always wonder how can places be rated so consistently high. In the case of the Sant' Antonio, it begins with the dedication and graciousness of its owner Nico. From the moment you make contact with Nico by email, to meeting him in person, to the unfortunate last... More

We have just returned from a wonderful week - our second visit to this Tuscan gem and have booked again for a couple of weeks in May 2010 - this place fills so quickly in advance and hardly suprising that a large proportion are returning visitors like ourselves. We travel extensively throughout Italy and if you want to visit Tuscany,... More

My wife and I stayed at Sant Antonio for our honeymoon in May 2009 and we could not have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay. Nico was an unbelievable host, who was always available to guide us through Tuscany and provide recommendations on excellent places to eat as well as authentic wineries for tastings. Nico's farmhouse was well... More

Our first stay at Sant'Antonio Country Resort in May 2007 was so fabulous that we made a return trip in May 2009. A concern that maybe our expectations for this trip were too high quickly evaporated as soon as we were warmly greeted by Nico (the owner), and shown to our apartment by Susanna. We felt among friends. Our apartment... More

After all the favorable reviews on this board about Sant' Antonio, we decided to give it a try. Needless to say, we were not dissapointed. Nico is a young, energetic entrepreneur who has developed a first class country resort in an ideal setting surrounded by olive trees, rolling hills and farmland. The location, just outside the Montepulciano town center, is... More

This is a perfect place to stay in the area. The owner is a true class act, and will do everything for you. The restaurants are perfect he recommends, and he really shows pride in his place. We always felt at home here, and really started to get to know the town and area. We ended up staying here almost... More

We stayed for 4 nights and were really impressed with Sant' Antonio. It's a great location and a perfect base to visit all the surrounding towns and cities. The apartments are very comfortable and the grounds are impeccably well kept. I would highly recommend Sant' Antonio for its value for money and hospitality.

We came across Sant’ Antonio by reading reviews on the tripadvisor.com and contacted the owners directly via their website. Being amateur artists – we wanted accommodation with a Tuscan feeling and views. Nico recommended Casa Francesca which was more than what we wished to have. The apartment which is part of the main 800 year old converted monastery was the... More

Modestly noble, tranquil, atmospheric, hospitable are only some of the impressiona that come to my mind about my stay in Sant' Antonio. Sitting by the pool with the Mediterranean sun embracing my body, getting spoiled by the midday lullaby of the cicadas in this unique environment is a memory I will never forget. Add to this the excellent service and... More

This property is wonderful. The location is so good. It was great waking up to the beautiful view of the Tuscany countryside and olive trees. It has wonderful gardens and open fire with wood supplied whenever you need it. A very peaceful place. You feel totally lucky to be there. The owners are wonderful too, very helpful. From this property... More
