We enjoyed our stay here very much: The hotel and the pools are lovely, especially the view from the pools, the service was excellent and friendly, the beds comfortable, the breakfast buffet delicious, and everything was scrupulously clean. The only criticism I have is the bathroom in our room: the fixtures were ancient (the shower door threatened to fall off... More

I stayed here 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. My upgraded "comfort room" on the 8th floor was basic and dated. Could hear conversation in neighboring rooms. The pools are a good temperature but chlorinated so my skin got quite irritated and the chlorine smell lingered for days. The dinner service was top notch with old world elegance. It... More

Location is great. First floor = no air conditioning. Food at Breakfast is nothing special. Lunch and Diner are average. I expected more. Service is very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Pool is in 6th floor.

We came for a 3 day Medical conference but added time before and after it to benefit from the thermal facilities of this great Hotel: Mud baths, treatments, pools indoors and outdoors with wonderfully warm waters,in a calm setting with gardens and convenient proximity to the train station from which we visited Padova -15 minutes away- and Venice -45 minutes... Rooms were clean. The hotel offers a free breakfast buffet. They have a restaurant with buffet or ala carte for dinner. They have a spa, indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pools are of Hot spring(! that is what I was told) which was very good during night (I stayed during winter). Hotel is mainly for oldage couples who take... More

This Hotel is located in a good place. It is very beautiful outside - the garden - and very interesting inside. Hotel resembles the mid 70s style with antique furniture and very beautiful bathrooms. Staff was helpful and nice. Some little things need more attention and care but all in all the hotel is still in a good condition. Left... More

I stayed in this hotel during my first business trip to this town and the stay in the middle of a long business trip coming from another town in Italy and going to another town after this meeting. For that reason, initially I had planned to stay the weekend in between in this town; but it was terrible enough that... More

We visited Montegrotto in early September as my partner was in the World Shoot nearby. The hotel was perfect for our needs as it was lovely weather and all was as described. The clientele was mainly older people taking advantage of the therapies and pools but we really enjoyed the two thermal outdoor pools and also the close proximity to... More

I was on the American Music Abroad Bronze Tour touring Europe with 100 kids. We stopped in Montegrotto, Italy for a concert. We stopped in this hotel for three nights. It was really really creepy. The lights in the halls were either dim or off. It had bodae (a European butt cleaner).

One should not forget that Montegrotto has Mineral Water, the hotels own, and basins of cultivated mud for the famous Mud - thermal bath treatment. Recommended stay is from one week to ten spa sessions to eliminate pain in joints for 8 months to one year. This is my own experience for 38 years now. Instead of taking anti inflammatory... More
