We just got back from out trip to Tuscany! We absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Hotel du Park et Regina! I would agree with others that if you are looking for a 4 star American Hyatt Regency type hotel this is probably not for you! However, if you are looking for am Italian B&B feel hotel than this...

Stayed here as part of a tour - this hotel has a "B&B" feel to it; it looks very old, the rooms are very small and the bathroom is extremely small. It is at a good location so make sure you walk around. When we went, there was a Funicolare di Montecatini Terme ride at a 10 minute walk -...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located close to rail and downtown area with plenty of options to eat. Take a drive through the nearby mountains for some breath taking views and stop by one of the small mountain towns for some delicious meals. Make sure you pet the cat that hangs out near room 111, he hangs...

What a wonderful place to stay when in this part of Tuscany. The hotel is old, but quite charming. For some, the rooms may not be what they expected, but having stayed in older European hotels before, I found the Regina to be all I expected and more. It is all a matter of expectations. If you are thinking of...

So, we stayed here in December, which would normally be the off season. But Montecatini Terme is the Italian home of Santa Clause, so it was hopping! LOTS of kids. I was traveling with another adult, so were weren't expecting that. Breakfast was loud and chaotic because of all the families there for the weekend, but the buffet was delicious!...

Stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed the place. The breakfast was great and the staff made us feel right at home. Great home base in Montecatini, very close to the train station. Walked around in the evening and felt very safe.

We recently stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The hotel is quaint, safe, beautifully decorated, room is clean and in a great location (within walking distance to the town center.) The hotel staff is extremely friendly and Monica at the front desk was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and helping us contact our tour company (mytours) when the...

We spent four nights, and just loved it! The hotel is quaint, but with all the modern conveniences such as internet. The staff is friendly and very helpful with recommendations concerning shopping and eating. A nice continental breakfast spread; the restaurant wasn't open for dinner, probably because the season was over. But Montecatini has more excellent restaurants than you can...

Beautiful old Hotel with the utmost in Italian Charm. You feel like you've walked back into time, from the ornate lighting to the old-fashioned lift, to the morning greeting from the hotel's permanent residents. The entire staff is very friendly and always available to assist with all your needs. The quaint morning breakfast with its hot strong coffee, freshly squeezed...

This hotel is in a great location, very central to many of the main tourist sites in Italy. All of the staff was EXCELLENT and so friendly! Hotel is a 5-10 minute walk (very safe) to some local restaurants and shops and just a little further is the main area of town. The hotel itself was old which definitely added...
