The room was tiny but clean and hotel is located not far away from the city center. We slept there for 4 nights in March were visiting Tuscany - Florence, Sienna, Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terre. Unfortunately, staff were quite slow, unorganized and very annoying - it's a small family hotel but the breakfast table organization was different every morning...

I was very unpleased when Gala Hotels charged me with ALL THE BOOKING FEES several months BEFORE the time, instead of making me pay at the hotel AFTER my stay there as usual, and use my credit card data only in case of my misbehaviour. This makes Gala Hotels untruthful

I didn't expect that I could come across such a bad hotel in Italy. I was told that this is a 3 star hotel, but it looked and felt more like a roadside motel... To sum up my experience - the room was dirty (stained and worn out carpeting, smelly and poorly cleaned bathroom, dirty walls), poorly lit (the room...

I was in Italy with a School tour in June/July and I found this hotel to be just okay. The food was great. That was the only good part. The rooms were small for four people, and there was not much storage space. Our air conditioner kept short circuiting, and the window wouldn't open. Also, the night management was a...

I traveled here with a group of high school students. The rooms were clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and a few of our students had trouble with the plumbing in their rooms- showers overflowing and sinks clogging. However, the food the prepared for dinner was excellent. The only reason I give this hotel a low rating besides the showers...

This hotel is managed by the same folks that manage the hotel across the street. Our room was standard budget quality with a nice, large, balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was not anything to write home about with small assortment of breads and cereals. Yogurt included and some sliced meats and cheese. Dinner in the hotel was nothing special...make...

The rooms were a bit small and simple, but the rooftop terrace and local town made it all worth it! I went with a tour group of high school students. The student rooms had balconies and it was in a really safe little town outside of Florence. Best part about Montecatini is that the main street (just a few blocks...

This is a clean and friendly hotel, inexpensive, so short on luxuries. Our room was tiny but did have air con. which was appreciated in the heat wave. Staff are helpful and friendly, especially the lady serving breakfast! Breakfast was disappointing; bread rolls, cheese and ham, no fruit or yoghurt. Rather stale cereals and warmed up, watered down milk. The...

Called here on an overnight stop through Italy and although the town was thriving, it was a Bank Holid;ay in Italy, it is a very pretty town with many bars and restaurants. Also quite a few shops for the ladies! As I said, it was just an overnight stop so the place was only really viewed in the dark but...
