Staff - very, very rude. We asked for blanket covers, and maid started to argue with us an then thrown them on beds. At the dinner she yelled when we asked if there was any salad. Hotel - the lobby is so filthy, rooms are uncomfortable, beds are auxiliary beds, bathroom was ok. Breakfast - very poor. Never ever again!

Stayed at Impero for one week on a group-travel. Central situated hotel for excursions in Tuscany. Also central in the town, in walking distance to shopping, market, train. Ordinary hotel with not too many facilities. Internet only in the reception area, due to heavy walls. Rooms were very different in size. Ours was small and had noise from the lift....

Our room was fine, although the walls were paper thin. Lots of people complain about the decor and the traditional lady who owns it, but to me, it felt very Italian, and that aspect quite charming. The owner's son and daughter-in-law seem to be doing more of the running as the mother has not been well, so it might be...

Cramped room, uncomfortable bed,no fridge, difficult shower but with staff that tried hard to please.Montecatini is a beautiful town in a lovely part of Italy and it was sad to find the accommodation was not as good as its location. With some money spent on improvements this hotel could be a gem.

Stayed here, luckily just for one night. It was like stepping through a time warp to the 60s/70s, everything was so old and the decor so dated and musty. My small single room was tiny and the bed very uncomfortable. Only one pillow was provided with no spare to be found so I had to fold it in half and...

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week. The room was sparsely furnished, small but clean and a ceiling fan but no air conditioning. But we did have a tiny balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast consisted of 1 croissant per person, small plate of ham and cheese slices, watery juice and lukewarm coffee from a machine. The evening meal...
