It is an isolated, peaceful, fascinating, natural place, surrounded by greenery. Every morning the move to the beach becomes a walk, with the foxes bravely approaching, the cows that with their bells have the mountain and the clean, fascinating sea a few hundred meters away. The bungalows are very nice and equipped, unfortunately they are not well soundproofed and neighbors are often heard talking. Normally there is no signal for mobile phones and the internet can only be used near the bar. Best period is june, july and september. Included in the bungalow an Umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach. Fantastic tour with the canoe that you can rent on the beach.
If you want to find a place like Greece, and Sardegna without the hassle of lenghty and expensive travel this is it. Nested in a hard to find canyon, Michele will open up his place and you will be in heaven, rustic, as some people may say, genuine, true, hard to find, away from crazy trongs of tourists. Amazing beach, Amazing water, clean and warm. Hot sun, walkways in the pines, scenic trials in Gargano, open and welcoming people unlike many other parts of Italy
Lovely, peaceful, beautiful campsite minutes from a quiet, beautiful beach. The tent and caravan pitches (under olive trees with lots of shade) are very generous and large, and even when many people are staying there, It won't feel crowded. Other campsites often feel like mini neighborhoods, but this campsite keeps its simplicity and authenticity as a peaceful place for enjoying nature. There is a central area with a bar (alcohol, coffees, pastries, snacks) and a market for food and other essentials, as well as tables to sit and enjoy your meals or the company of those around you. There are hot showers at no cost. The beach is about a 7 minute walk, but there is also a shuttle to take you there and back if you wish. The beach is beautiful- there is an area with chairs, umbrellas, and two small cafes for simple food and drink, but you can also walk down the beach where it is natural. The coast is stunning- the cliffs go straight into the water and there are grottos and caves to explore. The campsite also connects to a stunning cliff side hike in the national park where you can see beautiful views of the coastline. Additionally, the staff is just wonderful. Very welcoming and kind- they really want you to feel at home and will treat you like their friends! We especially enjoyed getting to know Michael and Rocco, who made our stay incredibly enjoyable, authentic, calm, and fun. …
We stayed 2 nights at campsite Vignanotica and liked it very much! The campsite is big and has a shop, restaurant and (free) shuttle bus to the beach. It's also possible to walk to the beach (500 m). The beach restaurant (vignanotica) is relaxed, has nice food for very good prices! The restaurant at the campsite is also very good, the dishes change daily.
